PLANT TIP...the black small vase plant pot...does it have holes to let out excess water after watering out!. As can rot the plant hence kill it if no holes in bottom of plant pot.

Yes never repot a plant also soon as you get it home , it shocks its most times, you can always keep the nursery pot and throw the whole thing in a “decorative pot” so great for good drainage when watering

I’m an interior designer here in Nashville - the fairgrounds flea is tricky there’s a back area outside of the building with 3 outdoor bays that have A TON of home decor and furniture - try again next month 😊 I’ve gotten some awesome pieces

Place the stems that did not have any roots in a clear glass of water. On your kitchen window would be a great place where they can get a lot of light. They will sprout roots! You can then plant them in the soil. 😊

that beach chair was and is still clutch for my family! We keep it in the car so we always have it for beach, pools, when we go boating and camping and even take it to the park! My daughter is 2.5 years old and still uses it constantly.

Plants are Peperomia caperata (pet friendly) and scindapsus pictus exotica (one of the biggest leaves in the scindapsus variety) if anyone was wondering. If you can have holes that would prevent rotting. Or you can put the plastic pot with holes in another pot and dump the water when you water them.

Cut below the node on the vine and water propagate it if you don’t see roots on those loose pieces. Then you’ll eventually be able to put it in soil. I love water propagating plants and seeing their roots grown in clear vases, it’s very esthetic. ❤ Do you have anything for drainage in that black vessel you put it in? Hey guys, was watching your video and seen the part about the plant that type of a plant you can cut it in their joints right beside the joint itself and you can stick it into the dirt and it’ll regrow roots. Sometimes the vines will get so long it’s for trimming back. Also, like your placement looks great. Best of luck.

The vines will regrow if you water once a week. I had plants like that throughout my restaurant. They like the sunlight and the warmth. And room temperature watering.

Easy plants to maintain and can tolerate dry soil for when you travel include the snake plant/mother in laws tongue and aloe plant, both are beneficial in air cleansing. Sleep with one near your bed is also recommended.

Tip I got front my mom to help baby walk is to get one of the swaddle blankets and put it under babies arms and across their chest and up their back so you can hold them up using the blanket and not hurting your back

Super great tip*** Hey guys I know this is old BUT IM A PLANT ADDIXT LOL- Scindapsus are VERY THIRSTY PLANTS, So water before the soil dries out 100%, and if those vines don’t have any roots - throw it in water and it will root right up then plant it back :)

Plant kinda looks like a pothos which grows like crazy and was very popular back in the day. We used to cut off long stems and keep them in water till they grew roots and then planted in a new vase.😊

Research pothos. One of the easiest plants to care for. Great beginner plant. And you can even trim it when you need to and make more plants out of the trimmings. That’s why you noticed other cuttings shoved into the pot. They will eventually reroof themselves if cared for properly

you guys picked great starter plants so i wanna give a couple pieces of advice. on the vining ones, the leaves will start to curl in on themselves when they need water. the ones that don’t have roots, you stick the stem in a clear bottle with water and they will grow new roots for you! i would recommend that if you want them to stay alive. good luck!

Re the kitchen plants: I don’t think the plant to the left of the window is getting enough/much of any natural light and will probably die. Especially since like half of the vines weren’t rooted. It’ll need more light than that to *possibly* root in the soil (but Hunter you’re right that it’s less likely than propagating it in water). 🤞🏽

If you put the plant and the soil directly into the pot, the plant will die of root rot eventually bc there’s no drainage. You would either have to a) keep the plant in the original plastic pot it came in and put that all together in a new pot or b) re-pot into a pot with holes and a saucer underneath. You can propagate those cuttings in water but long-term growth in water will also kill the plant. & make sure to fertilize sometimes! I know you’re not asking for plant advice but maybe it’ll help!

Hi! Plant enthusiast with over 200 plants here. Everyone is calling your plants pothos but they are actually scindapsus (likely exotica). The stems without roots will grow if the soil stays moist. They will grow and stay healthier on the right shelf because the top part of the plant will receive more light from the window. In the wild these plants actually climb rather than hang so if you notice it getting leggy as it grows longer, that’s normal and not anything you can fix unless you allow it to attach to something growing upwards. Ok, I’ll get off my soapbox now. Love y’all!
