I have a feeling we will see similar Tuk Tuk parades in other cities around Southeast Asia in the future. If the tourism boards in other cities are paying attention, they will almost certainly see what a great idea this is and decide to do it themselves. Maybe it's already happening elsewhere but this is the very first time I've heard of or seen something like this.

I agree that this is the type of thing more communities need to get on board with. It was fun, involved a lot of locals and everyone there had a great time. From my understanding, this was privately organized here but they worked with the local community to get it set up. I want to see more events like this.

I didn't stick around until the very end, so I don't know who won or what the prize was. Live music won out for me so I left a little bit before it was don'e.

I haven't experienced it myself personally, but I'm sure that it's out there. All I can say is that just trust your gut and if it feels off, then walk away. When I first got here, I used IPS realty to help find me an apartment. I had no worries with them, but the apartments they list start at $200 and go up from there. It's not going to be difficult to find a great place to meet your budget. Good luck.
