I struggled with the decision as well Jake. Ultimately after a month of borrowing both iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus phones from all my buddies, I went with the iPhone 6. It was definitely size that pushed me in the iPhone 6 direction. I was concerned that I couldn't type one-handed very well on the iPhone 6 Plus. Don't stay with the iPhone 5 series, the extra size of the iPhone 6 as well as some added performance IS worth the upgrade.

I was playing with the iPhone 6 at Verizon a month or so ago. The iPhone 6 is the way to go. The 6 plus is massively big! But I do agree with the guy up at the top ***** ... them pups of yours deserves some spoiling... 😀

I'd go with the 6 Plus (more correctly - WENT with the 6 Plus). It has a better screen, far bigger battery, and the Plus' camera is also a bit better than the 6. Not to mention watching videos and playing games is a lot better on the bigger screen.

I don't have either but I have done research and I know that the 6 Plus takes better videos and pictures and yes its bigger, but I have seen videos that it bends really easily and is poorly built, but I am also thinking about getting the 6 because its smaller, the 6 is also cheaper, but the iphone 5S seems pretty nice so I would say either stay with the 5S or get the 6.

i would probably just keep it and get an iPod 5 or something because the iPhone 6 is not great, but the iPod have a hell of a lot of data on it and the camera on the new one doesn't suck its also pretty thin and not totally made of glass so it wont break that easily, but what ever you decide i would just make sure you get a good case for it.

Ok I went to the concert on Dec. 12 and you guys were awesome like ahhhhh! Anyways after the show I wanted to get like shirts and stuff;but the line was long and my parents didn't want to wait that long and we left.So I was wandering if you could find like tour shirts anywhere else? The 6 will probably be easier to transition to because while it is a bigger phone its not huge like its brethren, the 6+. The main difference though between the two phones you will notice is the battery life and the camera. The battery is a lot larger in the 6+ so when your on tour, you might not have to worry about charging it as much. Some people if they use it lightly can get 2 full days Video here talking about the battery: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jajTapiXi7uKlZom19s) The camera as well is better because its got s bigger sensor allowing for better low light pictures, and Hardware OIS ( Optical image stabilization ) basically it will allow the phone to compensate for shaky hands allowing for either less blurry shots or less shaky looking video. Both phones can take video's at 270fps but the video will look better on the 6 Plus because of, like i mentioned before the Optical Image Stabilization. Which would be cool to show your dogs doing stuff in slow-mo. Best thing to do is, when you get a chance, go to an apple store and hold both in the hand and try both of them out. They both have benefits.

Honestly I would look into the Moto X and G 2nd Gen. The Moto X 2nd gen is pretty cool and with the Republic Wireless service they got its super cheap! Btw I was at your Chicago show! Did you like the crowd? To me some of the people were kinda not as pumped, but I've listened I you guys for a long time and by far it was he best concert yet

Go with the 6 plus. My friend just got it and is pretty awesome because it has more features to it than the 6. Plus the filming videos is better on it because it will turn shaky videos into a clear no movement one. But either way they both are nice phones.

What I would do is keep the 5S and buy a camera instead. It doesn't have to be a fancy Nikon just something better than an iPhone. I mean if you prefer filming on your phone then you should upgrade to the six plus. But if you're willing to get something as big as the six plus I'd consider investing in a camera.

Since it seems that you are huge into taking videos, i personally go with the 6 plus. The 6 plus has optical image stabilization and it also can take slow-mo clips up to 240fps. Also, since you are always travelling, having a bigger screen would benefit you when consuming media such as movies and youtube videos, or even reading articles (twitter). Hope this helps! JakePittsBVB Nope, it's electronic/digital for the regular 6. But like Scott said, the Plus would be pretty much better for you and your video making. I personally prefer the iPhone 6, bought it a month ago and I can't really complain. There are a few ways to improve the regular iPhone 6 camera too, like with the iPhone 5S. (As in additional lenses for example), so I'd definitely think about the 6 at this point. But then again: If the Plus isn't too big for you, then go for it!

6 plus battery is way better and its a full 1080p HD Screen. I think you'd enjoy the 6 plus way more especially on tour watching movies on a full HD screen would be awesome. Good luck on the rest of the tour!

I have the 6 because I feel that it is a much more manageable size than the plus. honestly it was mostly so i could save $100. but I just personally feel that having the 6 plus would just be too much for me. I do love the camera on the 6 (i upgraded from the 5s as well) the brightness is really good like it makes pictures look brighter than they do in real life its interesting and of course it has a higher pixel count so the images are clearer. The battery life is about the same as the 5s which honestly isn't that bad and as you know it doesn't take that long to charge. The screen is actually much higher resolution and I could really tell the difference there it is very impressive. I felt that the 6 felt much bigger than the 5s at first so I really don't think you need the size of the 6 plus. just my opinions :) My at&t store had them in stock in Thousand Oaks, which isn't too far from LA. but the stores in LA will probably be stocked. also the middle size is now 64GB so theres much more space for less cost. and OMG my camera roll looks just like yours, only its my dog and the farm animals we have on campus! And i also do not feel that the phone is very breakable, especially if you have a case and the glass screen protector you'll be fine. sorry this was so long haha i just wanted to give you everything I knew about it since I upgraded from the 5s like you haha best of luck with the rest of tour!

I got an iPhone 6 (not plus) on Black Friday and I must say I really love it. I had a 5c before this one and the 6 just has a way bigger screen. Oh and yes the camera quality is very awesome. Now like some comments below, you would save money if you kept the phone you have. But just to answer your question, if you were to upgrade I suggest the 6. 6 plus seems to big to be carrying around all the time haha :)

I'd say keep the 5S as it's a much better phone, but if you want to upgrade then I'd say 6 and it looks like an actual phone whereas the 6+ could be a tablet even and doesn't really fit in your pocket.

I've heard some bad reviews on the 6+. If you must upgrade go with the 6. I'd say your best bet right now if to wait until they've both been out a while longer and stick with the 5s. That's what I have. Also it's not saving your money if you're going to spend it on dog toys. 😝 (They deserve it though) Good luck whatever you choose!

I agree, at least for me I like to be able to hold my phone in one hand and zip around it, I have to use two hands to do allot on her phone! And I think the pups would appreciate extra gifts :3

I'd go with iphone 6. 6 plus, is fairly big and not very practical in your pocket. 6+ is supposed to bend aswell. 6 also seems more affordable :P and I wouldn't bother doing contract. Personally they stress me out :s

Get the Iphone 6. The iPhone 6 is a good size, bigger than the 5 but not as bulky as the plus. The plus is difficult to put into pockets. I have the regular 6, and I am happy with the quality of it. Also I figure with your tour life, the plus could get broken quickly. Its really thin with great surface, so its not as sturdy as the 6. i hope this helps. Make sure you get a griffin or otterbox phone case

hey jake! even though this is not exactly the answer to your question, but since you take a lot of videos and you use the camera often in general the Samsung galaxy note 4 has wonderful camera and audio quality along other good qualities.... again sorry its not the answer to your question but if you're an iPhone person go with the 6 plus more off note: I would just like to say thank you so much for doing what you do you're my idol and my inspiration... you helped me not be afraid of being who i am so thank you so much!!! i saw you guys recently in Worcester and you guys just fucking rocked like always!! anyway your videos make me smile so keep them coming :) have a good one :)

I have had the iPhone 6 for 2 months and I'm loving it. It fits better in your pocket than the 6Plus. the functions and features are the same more or less. i would suggest iPhone 6 bc -transition between the 5 and 6 is better than 6 plus in terms of size. - people have reported the 6 plus deleting your apps and music so that would suck. the camera on 6 is also really amazing, and the sound system. more or less its kinda the same… meh.

You're right about the battery. I'm been going back and forth for weeks about which one to get. I think the 6 Plus is bigger than it needs to be. The 6 is perfect size but that damn Apple battery sucks! For me its all about the battery. Was even considering bailing on Apple and trying the Samsung Galaxy s5. But - I'm a slave to Apple cause I got an iMac and iPad and I want everything to link up. I think the battery sucks even more since the iOS 8 update. Anyway, dude. I'm sure they're both great phones. Hmm depends, the 6/6 plus are slightly faster at well... everything compared to the 5s, and size, the 6 could be better if you have smaller hands but you suffer with a less battery life, the 6 plus would be better in terms of battery life but it may be uncomfortable if you have small hands, Hope this helps Jake! :D
