staying true to yourself is one of the best gift you could give to yourself. I figured this out when I was in my early 20's and now I am the happiest I have ever been. I understand the struggle of wanting to fit in but it's so extremely exhausting. You end up finding the circle of friends that are similar to you eventually so that's always a win!

Talking about social media I think a lot of people feel similarly when it comes to feeling overwhelmed and this pressure to keep up with trends to stay relevant... I think more and more people are appreicating influencers who come across as acting like themselves and not trying to do what everyone else is doing.

Honestly, as much as I love it, I've begun to realize youtube and social media in general makes me lose myself and impulse buy way too often. When I see an influencer I love sharing their new bag, shirt, blush, whatever it may be...I feel like I "need" it too to. I've always been a very "I like what I like", unique person, but now I'm just copying and I'm a grown woman. I hardly ever buy anything I haven't seen somebody I follow have anymore.
