Hi Val! Praying 🙏🏽 for your mom and your family! I am going through something similar but my mom is farther along and she can no longer feed herself or do anything at all. My daughter and I take care of all her needs. She doesn’t know who I am most days and she calls me mom, but I remind her all the time that I am her daughter and I love her very much. I promised my mom years ago that I would never place her in a nursing home so she is with me until God calls her home. May God give you the strength to continue to support your family. Hello Queen! Please get your mother’s primary doctor to write a prescription for a hospital bed. So that the side rails are up and this will prevent her from falling out of the bed unto the floor. Also request from her doctor to give a her wheelchair Seatbelt (I don’t know the correct name but I have seen some like an over the shoulder and fasten on the side. I’ve seen also the seatbelt that’s similar to a baby car seat and fasten across the chest. ). This will prevent her falling over in her chair or sitting slumped over and causing her back pain. This will help her maintain good posture. Continually praying for your parents, Jasmine and you being there caretakers. God’s grace and mercy will continue to cover you.

She should be able to get financial aid for school. I know there has been a lot placed on you, and even though God doesn’t give us more than we can handle, I know it’s hard, and I hope you’re still utilizing the psychiatrist sometimes. There’s nothing wrong with talking to a professional. I commend you for all that you’re doing and not changing your beautiful personality. God has your back, Queen! Val I know how you feel when it comes to mom. I had a difficult choice of putting my mother in a Nursing Facility, I ‘m an only child and trying to take care of my mother alone was hard. Hey Val, prayers r definitely goin up. But anyway, I am a PCS worker, which mean I am not a CNA, SO Jass can do that kind of work with your mom. It's the same as a CNA but u r not certified. So she can take care of your mom without being certified and also can go to school to get certified. You will have to apply with Medicaid waiver. Please look into it. Because the stage your mom is at, it's possible that she can get 12 hrs a day of care and possibly respite hrs as well. Call Medicaid and check into it ASAP. PRAYING ALL IS WELL❤❤
