Good morning Marty and Shirley. The correct answer to the question of why do you need a ladder is because just like Jack, the bean stork has grown up to the sky. The gardens are pumping and the weeds are jumping. Happy gardening everyone around Australia and the rest of the world. Green love from Queensland Australia 💚🌲🌏🙏

G'day from the Goldie. The best way to get rid of anykind of skinkbug is to use a bucket of hot soapy water and a pair of bbq tongs, just pick them off and put into the water. Always wear glasses when doing so. Easypeasy. Gotta get some snake beans......

Raw beans are also not good for us. Beautiful harvest! With an aphids problem in beans I grow narsturtium with the beans. They attract the aphids and leave other plants alone or bother less the other plants. Worth to try.
