Try those bento lunch box thermos things. You boil the container before you pack the food and then it’s supposed to keep everything warm. Also, I have to get to my son’s school an hour early to be at the front of the line 😅

Just a suggestion they have containers selling on Amazon to keep your food warm up to 8 hours, also cups for porridge, etc. It is like a lunch box. Hope this helps 🙏

Get him a thermos. Pour boiling hot water in it for about 5 minutes before you put the food in. Make sure the food is hot. My sons stays hot for 5 hours
