Crazy thing is, most times, the quality of some of these fake goods is usually quite good. Almost as good as the original thing. For some, you can’t even differentiate between original and fake 😅

Oh boy, those watches. Patek-Philippe [the e is silent] is a proper luxury brand, typical prices in the West would start at about $30000 for entry-level stuff. And a true Rolex you cannot buy from an authorised dealer off-the-shelf anyway, get on a waiting list. There are really good Rolex fakes once you are prepared to spend a few hundred bucks on them, the ones in that shop not so much. There are diminishing returns up the price ladder, both for reals and fakes, but at the low end small price differences can make a huge difference.

Hi Carmel, Guangzhou in comparison to the rest of China is the least safe, please look after you belongings , get a place to stay next to the markets you intend to go to, using the subway will be complicated for you if you're not based in China so I'd recommend taxis. Better to have all your addresses typed in mandarin characters. The markets i went to in this vlog are Bai Ma Fashion Market and Bai Yun Leather Market

Aone Ditirwa Hi Aone! I just returned from a day trip to Guangzhou and took a taxi to Baiyun Leather Market, OMG!!! My head was spinning too as it was truly overwhelming from all the excellent merchandise. I ended up with a classic Channel bag in a caviar finish. Tips to those who are going is to bring plenty of RMB (China’s currency) and don’t forget to bargain! Have fun everyone!
