You are so over the top with your showers. I hope they reciprocate when it’s your turn. I can’t imagine what this costs. Seems like a lot of food for 15-20 people. You are an amazing hostess! Maybe this is your calling.

I think she just enjoys doing it! She has always been that friend to make gift baskets/put things together for her friends it seems to be her love language regardless of what others do in return.

@@Ladytulip22I think the same. I wish more people gave from the heart rather than with a “what’s in it for me” attitude. The entire idea of giving should be because it makes you feel good to give to others. That should be the sole reason to give.

All the parties you host are awesome. You put your heart and soul in them, and it shows in the end product. Beautiful. And, how sweet of Jordy to be so involved and helpful. This is how marriage is supposed to be. He is so sweet. I am so glad you found each other. The happiness radiates around you both. Loved the place settings and the backs of the chairs. Glad the weather was good, could never do this in Ireland as would be guaranteed rain. Love your garden too. You should show that off more often. If you feel like hosting what difference you obviously enjoy it.

Where do you get that from? I am fully aware that he may do more that so not caught on camera. But from what we see, the dude doesn’t do shit. This is the first video I have seen him do anything to help her. He seems like a 30 year old man living in his moms basement. I hope I’m wrong, but I really don’t know where you get this from. She has literally put together all the furniture, did all the painting. Based on her income, I think it’s safe to say she is paying for most of their crap (house, furniture, repairs, ext.)

Well I think you did a beautiful job on the shower and you gave your friend plenty of smiles to remember and that’s a beautiful meaningful memory, plus your and Jordy’s love is a wonderful gift from God and I’m glad y’all were blessed! Remember you don’t have to answer anybody’s questions that you don’t feel like answering and do what you want to for your friends most of us just love watching how you set it all up and how pretty it all turns out, you know the positive things. I know you don't need another job but if you want one, planning is totally in your genes. The flower bar was just so beautiful. Your "showers" that you have done lately are just so gorgeous. When my Mum was still with us, my daughter, who is a 1997 baby too, and I used to send mother's day baking and preparing. My Mum loved nothing more than high tea and for several years we did that for her. Watching you prepare for this reminded me of that. I'm so happy for you, Michel. Jordy is so lovely and you two make a gorgeous couple.

Michel, I have a decor suggestion (BTW, I love your styel!): the rattan ceiling lamp in your intro... the cord going down the wall... we have a ceiling lamp and I bought a cord cover at a home good store, painted it our wall color and you can have the cord going down your wall where it is or move it to that nearby corner (which we did). Hides the cord, looks tidy. I hate to give you a suggestion because you have awesome ideas, but I just thought I'd share.

I watch your videos on my TV so can't usually comment but I just had to get on my computer to comment today! Firstly, I spent some time binge watching another creator today and while I love them & their videos, there is this distinct coziness I feel when I move from watching other content to your vlogs. Thank you for inviting us into your life, it's just comforting to feel like I'm coming along for the day with you whether it's a normal day in the life or a fun event like this, there's just this cozy familiarity about it. Secondly, WOW you did so good with this shower 🥹 I loved all the tiny details and how much intention you put into everything. I'm so excited for you to have this space where you can host and love on your people in this way! And last but not least, I literally teared up at the end when you were so happy with how the day went and so thankful for Jordy's help... I love seeing God's kindness in your life in giving you someone who is just oozing with joy to help and support you.
