Yes it’s a high stress job. People think it’s fun and glamorous (and it is) but oh my they truly have no idea how exhausting physically and emotionally, lol.

Yea it really comes in handy. A lot of my clients bring me their own inspo pics from Pinterest, etc. but having a book helps a lot for those who don’t know what they want.

Thank you and you know, right? I chew gum too even though they told us in my certification to do mints instead, because it’s more professional. Beautiful blushing bride! She is lucky to have her bestie do her and her girls makeup. I did my own back in the day and I barely knew what I am doing aka not really lol. I have a question re: brows. Aren’t you supposed to figure out where to start them by sort of drawing a line from the side of your nose / nostril to the inner corner of the eye and extend it up to your brows? Curious if there is another school of thought on this and in what circumstances.

Aw thanks she is gonna be a beautiful bride! And on the brows, yes that is the theory on brow placement:) These days, natural brows are trending and especially if a bride wants a natural look, I kind of just follow the natural shape of their brows and just enhance them a little. (Unless they have no brows/sparse brows that you have to draw on). So I wouldn’t say there’s a “correct” way. I’d say that’s just a guiding map for brows. But it kind of depends on how full & enlarged you want them. If that makes sense?

Aw thx. Yea it may be like I talked about: we need client approval to post publically and it can be a challenge to film while on the job. Also sometimes it’s just a different niche. Different topics we film versus what we’re doing on the job:)

For sure! 😂 I do bring my daughter or mom for some weddings if we are on a crazy time crunch or extra girls. They help me sanitize between clients to keep things moving faster. It is MUCH needed!
