My son as a baby wore neutrals in cotton, linen and wool because they were the more affordable choice as they were not as popular in 80's, organics were easier to stain treat and launder, and he grew out of clothes so fast functionality instead of fashion was the goal. Children see color all around it is in their toys, books, puzzles and pretty much anything that is geared toward kids not to mention seeing color in everyday life. Shay doesn't deserve to be labeled as a "beige baby" and whomever said that is the real sad individual.

Have you tried the tempura paint sticks on amazon? They are really great for my daughter (2) and I’ve seen younger kids use them also. They kind of seem like a glue stick with color, but it gives kids a very smooth painting experience and they can create big bold lines easily. Also I’m ordering those baby proofing locks for our doors!

Dont listen and dont get affected by that silly "sad beige baby". Its so sad how women, especially other moms criticize how other moms dress their kids.
