Hi Nishitha! My partner and I are planning on moving to Toronto from Vancouver, and I was curious to know….would you say that Toronto is a safe city? I used to live in Toronto 8 years ago, and the last few years there’s been such an increase in crime in Toronto, it’s quite scary! And this year there’s been some terrifying crime on the TTC, and stabbings and what not! I’m curious what your thoughts and experience is and how safe it is for a young woman to travel alone in downtown Toronto and take TTC etc these days…the Toronto I lived in years ago doesn’t seem like the same Toronto now…..thanks so much for taking the time to respond, really appreciate it ! ❤
