Thank you for talking about the devastations on Maui. I'm from Oahu but I feel the need to put down my thoughts regarding visiting. Kanaka Maoli would say differently because in general, they discourage visitors to Hawaii...period...but from an economical standpoint, Hawaii is very dependent on tourism. Maui businesses are pushing that they are open and need visitors because they're hurting. Maui is in recovery but tourism is part of that recovery. The request is if anyone visits Maui, be respectful of the land and people and do not go to Lahaina Town. West Maui is tentatively set to open in October.

My biggest tip is watch the second parade showing and go to all the treat trails during the first one! Everyone watched the first parade and the treat trails were EMPTY

You’ll have so much fun at Oogie Boogie, I just got home from going on the 12th! My biggest piece of advice is pick something you think will be the biggest must do before 6 (when the party officially starts) & get in line around 5:20-5:30 (a lot of people were in line for the Minnie, daisy, & clarabelle as the Sanderson sisters or Bruno so that you don’t spend all your time in a line when the party starts. Don’t prioritize rides, none are really different try to do all the treat trails & character photos instead. Bring a bigger bag (they give you a small one) so if you want a decent haul of candy you can stock up. & try to do villains grove earlier in the night, I’ve heard it closes early so maybe get in line during the first parade 🫶🏼

I did my first Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party this year at WDW and it was such a fun time! I’d love to see the difference for the Oogie Boogie Bash! 😊
