free and clear ALL , is a good detergent also. congratulations 🤰🏽 ! And little advice from my past experience during labor, u honestly don’t need nothing. but 2-3 pair of clothes for yourself, ( most likely you have to be in the gown at all times ), your personal hygiene products, and shower shoes! everything else the hospital will provide for post partum care, save your stuff for when u get back home! The baby honestly doesn’t need anything either, only 2 outfits and maybe a bib 😂🤷🏽‍♀️, they will give you blankets, diapers and wipes while there. ( keep your stuff for home! ) and yes a suit case will do just fine, and bring a packed diaper bag ( for the car on the ride back home ) i over packed and didn’t even use majority of my stuff 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ but just a first time mom tip to another 🩵

Advice for the new mama ! Congratulations 🍾🎉 Postpartum depression doesn’t affect everyone but a good amount of people experience postpartum anxiety when apart from their baby. If you find yourself anxious when you baby is out of sight even if it’s a trusted family member taking your baby into the living room then you feel like you just must be with your baby or have eyes on them. Talk to your doctor about postpartum anxiety it’s normal you and your baby were connected for 9 months it’s a shock for both baby and mom. Don’t feel guilty for your anxiety if you do experience it! Ask family members to understand they wouldn’t do any thing to your baby but anxiety is powerful but God is more powerful so pray pray pray ❤️ Something a lot of people don’t talk about is the relationship with your significant other afterwards! Always have calm words with one another especially if there were sleepless night’s! I remember I would be having to pump and breastfeed in the middle of the night but my partner would be resting I’d get upset or envious that he got to rest more than I did in those moments where I had to be awake to breastfeed or pump. Baby would be up and then go back to sleep quick but then 20 mins later my breast were full and needing to be pumped so I got up to pump for 25 mins and then put milk away and it felt like by the time the baby got up again I’d only gotten 1 hr of consistent rest 🥹 those moments can but hard on your body sleep wise ! If you need a nap ask your partner or support to watch baby while you rest and pump before napping it will save you the boob ache 😣
