How do you choose your weekly verse?

Sometimes through a sermon or I can ask a friend or anyone I come across depending on what we were discussing about or I just follow the leading of the Holy Spirit based on the circumstances. The more verse we learn we can use them to pray and also apply them in our daily lives so the choice becomes easy
