Yes with what Ray said. We had family come visit us from Sydney and they said to me its boring and slow here but i disagree. I lived in Sydney and the life was too fast for me. Been to Brisbane and i cant stand the Humidity. Melbourne is the place for us. Its family oriented and all the things Ray mentioned. Glad yous are settling in Melbourne so far. Point cook is like almost an hour from me so sucks i won't ever bump into you guys. Much alofas ❤

melbourne definitely goes at a slower pace, but you’re right. i’d choose melbourne over sydney to settle down and raise a family location wise. it took a minute for us to adjust, but now- we’re so settled and at peace here. we’re exactly where we need to be. 🤍

@@DesorayandSharon GIIIIRL when I first moved here I thought it was the closest comparison to NZ and I used to live in Chester Hill in Sydney 😂 even though I miss my family in NZ & Syd I met my partner here and he’s made it home for me (even though he’s from NZ too we’re both frauds💀). But I totally get what you & Ray were talking about “there’s something about being in a different city with your person” 💯 you adapt & grow as you go and there’s such a satisfying feeling of ✨WE DID THAT✨ after overcoming unexpected hurdles together it’s an amazing feeling doing life with your person 🧘🏽‍♀️ SIS!! I’m in West side of Melbourne & there is sooooo many hidden Gems here, some of the areas are a bit hori but ya know that’s just life lifiiing right now 💀 bakeries, fob food, butter chicken, Asian food lemme know your poison 😂

@@DesorayandSharon there’s like a bakery here in Melton (Yes I’m in the Mangere of Westside but Chon Warry makua sekia Le meaai iinei) 💀 it’s on high street it’s called Melton Bakery Cafe & Takeaway right next to the Westpac ATM - (there’s 2 bakeries it’s the one right next to the ATM) lol you gotta try their bacon & egg pie & steak & cheese & everything HAHAHA they’re closed Sundays & open until 3:30 every other day and also they run out most days around 2pm on bacon & eggs so we usually go early some nights when me & my partners done an all-nighter we go to the bakery cause it opens at 5:30 lol
