Hell yes to financial content! I’m a huge advocate of women being financially knowledgeable and powerful. You hit it right on the head. It’s about freedom. I would love to see you talk more about it in a shadow and shmooze. Women deserve to feel comfortable talking about money, and seeing kickass women like you talk about it really normalizes communication and openness about our finances.

We live in such a fast-paced world that’s its easy to think we didn’t do enough in a day. (And health issues only compound the issue.) My advice, which I try to apply to myself, is to give yourself the same sort of grace you would tell good friends to give themselves. We tend to be our own worst critic. It’s time we treat ourselves more kindly. ☺️

I’m not a fan of the “gotta be productive” mentality. It’s sad that some people think that they’re useless for not being borderline workaholics. It’s so toxic and unhealthy, especially for our to mental health. I love your new haircut! I also got kinda bored of my long hair and cut 15 inches off. Now my blow drying and styling takes minutes instead of hours. ❤️

I’ve read somewhere that small perspective things help with the pressure of life. Changing “have to” to “get to.” “I have to film” ➡️ “I get to film” “I have to edit” ➡️ “I get to edit” “I have to stay home” ➡️ “I get to work from home“ It can take the pressure off because you’re giving yourself some more room to breathe, more freedom. You’re not restricting yourself to a ridiculous (and sometimes, inhumane) schedule, but you are still sticking to a schedule, if that makes sense.

I’m loving the shorter hair. I recently cut my hair shorter, my hair was long like yours and I went short in the back but a little longer in the front and I’m loving it. There’s something satisfying to me when someone who’s had long hair for a really long time and gives it a good cut. It always feels weird the first few days when you are in the shower washing it. Hope you’re loving the new cut.

Loved the "sitting on the toilet having a moment" part of the vlog. Yes, I feel this all the time. I feel my best when I am being productive and getting shit done, but at the same time when I am always in that mode my mental health suffers and other things that are important to me don't get done. I manage my time super well but sometimes life just gets in the way. There are days where I think well if this didn't happen I would have had the time, and that's true, but sometimes I do everything right and shit still hits the fan or it's not sustainable every week. If that makes sense. I'm glad there is another human out there that feels that.

I struggle too with major depression and being ambitious. When I’m down and unfunctional or less functional I beat myself up for not being productive enough. I try to remind myself that progress is little steps. It’s getting out of bed, it’s taking a shower, cooking a meal. It isn’t always accomplishing the impossible all the time. Success for me looks different than it does for most people but I know I’m capable of accomplishing things like others too. Hang in there, Taylor. Much love and you’re one of my inspirations 💜

I hear you on the work life balance piece! As disabling as your health issues can be for you at times, I wonder if it would be an option for you to hire someone to take care of things in your life you hate doing. So for example when you are out of commission because of your health you wouldn't have to perhaps deal with food preparation, cleaning your place, etc. It could be worth the investment if it gave you more of your time back when you were able to work. It's something I recommend to a lot of clients I work with. Good luck! Our culture really doesn't honor an individual's need to take time away from work and regroup ❤️

@@JRose83 Thanks for reminding me about the sizes of the barrel. I have 3 titanium curling irons. I find it really helpful to reframe what I think of as “productive.” Did you invest time into your personal relationships? Did you spend a few minutes looking at something beautiful? Don’t sell yourself and your efforts short, give yourself credit for all the kinds of things you’re doing every day - productivity is so much more than one thing. But this is a huge struggle in a world where we’re told our dollar amount is our worth. I found you through moving vlogs, and still love your vlogs best but I watch makeup content sometimes. I've been living with non-stop chronic pain for almost 15 years now..... And the one thing that's hardest to learn is time management as it applies to work/life/health balance. If I don't force myself to get back to housework, resting too long adds to my pain but also putting off doing work only makes my stress go up cuz I have more to do. It is hard to balance it all but the more balance (for your lifestyle, job, health, etc) you achieve, the better it all gets. Good luck in managing your everyday life and I hope you find balance asap rather than later.

@@valeriebumblebee7607 I hope the chronic issue flare from the vax subsides too. I have a host of chronic health issues, and the 2nd shot sent me into a huge flare. Part of me that never ache or get sore were on fire (including my ankles - I had to put a heating pad on them, so bizarre). My migraines and joint pain in my neck got worse. I guess it can cause an inflammatory response in our bodies if we already suffer from other health issues. But to give hope haha, it went away after about 2 months. I hope it eases up for you soon, lots of rest, vitamins, and repair.

@@FlwrCats76 that's pretty much what I am going through right now! Also have an "inflammatory chronic disease". I am also a little scared about how I would have reacted if I have gotten the virus, if I am reacting this bad just to the shot... but at least I decided to try some alternative natural stuff for the chronic issues and set up sth like therapy plan. Maybe it helps and sth goods comes out of it at the end. Also, good to know that I am not the only one with those issues. So, thank you for commenting! Hope you get even better too ❤

Ok, not a nespresso recommendation but hear me out. I wanted to get a single serve machine & looked into most of the brands. I was really reluctant to get a nespresso because of all the extra plastic packaging involved with the pods & the questionable taste of some of them. I ended up getting a single serve hamilton beach machine for about 60 dollars and it's the best decision I've made. It's quick, coffee is always hot, it has a small receptacle you put your own coffee grounds into, so you can pick whatever coffee you want, very easy to clean. Akin to an espresso machine but it's drip instead of pressurized. Super easy and fast, plus environmentally friendlier. I recommend. 😁

Ive been a manicurist for 22 years. Pro tip when using base gel for your dip. Let the base gel self level before dipping finger. If you are still experiencing bumps, dont dip your finger in powder. Instead, use a fan brush and sprinkle the powder on the nail after the base gel self levels a bit.

Making cold brew in just a glass pitcher with a filter was a coffee game changer for me. I drink iced coffee alllll year, and hardly use my Keurig. Making my own cold brew is better for the environment because I’m not using plastic Starbucks/Dunkin cups every day, not using straws, not using single use coffee pods, etc. and it also saves so much money. Past the initial investment of coffee, glass pitcher and filter (tastes way better than plastic pitcher), coffee syrups and similar, it’s much less costly, and tastes better in my opinion. I buy a couple pounds of my favorite Christmas Morning blend from an amazing local roaster (Shelburne Falls Coffee Roasters from Massachusetts), also their Chocolate Raspberry, the best, and make a 6 cup pitcher every night so I have cold brew on deck every day. I also cold brew pitchers of earl grey tea to make earl grey tea lattes. Super good option if coffee pods aren’t cutting it! I also put vanilla bean paste in my grounds while it’s brewing, SO good! Peach season is the best too! My kid loves them.

Do it everyone, start investing, even if it's just $50 a month. Then check back with me in 30 years and tell me how well you've done!!!❤️ ALSO, I can't begin to list all the products I use because of your recommendations😱 I literally buy my Klavuu Lip Treatment for the YEAR so I can get free shipping. Since you asked, I was one of your viewers that never watched your vlogs. I was purely here for product reviews and makeup tutorials, but I got curious one day because you mentioned some products that you had shown in your vlogs so I watched a few. My expectation was that it would be boring or that I would feel like a voyeur to watch someone go through their day, but your vlogs aren’t like that. You still educate us as you go through your day, and you don’t follow a formula. I like that your vlogs are taken across multiple days and that you talk about different things because it feels more varied from vlog to vlog.

I recently found a hack for concealer to make it wear as good be. Place consealer under your eye and blend it in. It settles less than any other way I have tried!

You DESERVE rest and happiness and all the good stuff AS YOU ARE.
