@@JJLovesWatermelon Thank you,i guess this generation is not the same anymore, its more the parents that hav the notion that NUS is the only uni and its" branded" but most college students now feel that not all unis r the same in terms of class size, teaching style etc, so its not so much of the name anymore,,,, gooodluck to u and hope to see more of yr videos.

Yeah NUS isn't definitely the only place to go to, its my opinion that even private universities in Singapore here are great - at the end of the day its really how much tangible benefit you can bring to your future employer or the market in genera. I'm not a fan of relying on a brand of a university you came from, but instead being critical and asking yourself, are you good at what you do? that's all that matters to me :)

Hi! I recently got my A-levels results and I'm at a crossroads on what to do in the future. I just wanna ask what kind of factors/reasons made you choose to go NUS Biz rather than NTU and SMU Biz?

NTU is too far - SMU is too biz-centric. Best thing about NUS is that you're not limited to your major - as a NUS biz kid i can take a computing course if i wanted. as a NUS biz kid i can take a singing course at Yong Siew Toh (yes its graded and I got A- HAHA) You can't do that at SMU - and again, NTU is just too far away from everything

Hi!! Im an 11th grade student in Indonesia and I would like to get selected in NUS business sch. But can I get into there if I only have score in Physics, economics, and accounting? Because I only took that majors for my high school. Thank you!!

i don't think it matters, i took music as one of my majors before university. It would be great if you had econs and math background but the modules will teach everything over again!

Seemed like none in your group had notes for the presentation..is it not allowed? 30min presentation without any notes 😮? I am actually going to NUS for my exchange studies, looks nice! Are all classes this big?

It is allowed but if you need notes for a presentation, it may not give a good impression that you know what you're presenting well enough, this is a seminar class, slightly bigger than a tutorial group but much smaller than a lecture :) hope you enjoy NUS!!!

it's probably a tough question to answer but what do you want after university? If you do maybe you could share more and I can give my 2-cents on that if not, NUS Biz is definitely a place that'll allow you to find what you want - take every opportunity that comes and you'll eventually find what you want to focus on :) I did marketing!

To get into NUS Business School I think you either need to have taken the SATS or the Cambridge A Level Examinations, or at least an internationally renowned high school exam recognised by the school, are you an undergraduate? Or are intending to do your Master's here?

@@seshan3652 to be honest I don't hear many good things about econs majors. Then again it really depends what you want after university, if you have a clear picture it'll be great and the degree simply serves as a means to get there. I didn't do a double degree myself - I'm biased in that way (because I've only got a single BBA degree) but I think internships and working experience will be better compared to academic achievements in my opinion!

hey Maikel! I'm exactly sure how though, local students enter NUS via the A Levels Cambridge Exams, SATS is also a possible way to enter NUS. You need a good enough academic grade in your high school or junior college to be admitted into NUS :)
