During our most recent trip to Universal Orlando Resort, we had the divine pleasure of staying at Loews' Sapphire Falls Resort! We have been targeting a stay at this preferred Universal Resort property for over a year, and we finally got our chance while visiting Universal for the Orlando Informer Meetup (June 2021). During this visit we got to experience two of the three dining locations at New Dutch Trading Co. and the Drhum Club Kantine, and we got to explore the Sapphire Falls Resort Pool complex quite thoroughly. Plus, we made all kind of use out of that complimentary water taxi! We’re going to show you the amazing and expansive resort property here, as well as to give you a tour of the aforementioned pool complex and a look at our 2 Queen Lagoon View Room! I love Sapphire Falls the most out of the three Universal Resorts we've stayed at (Royal Pacific, SF and Adventura). The pool is the best one of the three. However, we went there on their last night of operations, so we had the pool pretty much to ourselves and even got a Cabana for super cheap. It's definitely an amazing hotel. Thanks for the super in depth tour!

Fun story, we actually had a stay booked here when COVID first appeared and crushed all of our hopes and dreams 😂 We were hopeful when it reopened, but when it shut down again (temporarily) we shifted our travel dates forward to June hoping that it would be reopen by that time…and we totally lucked out in that they reopened in late May! I wish we could have gotten the pool to ourselves, but by the time we arrived we were just so happy to be staying there that we would gladly have taken a packed pool over no pool at all 😁

This place looks awesome. You did an awesome job putting it together as usual. I love that the hotel gift shop has everything pretty much Universal itself does. Those sea shells on the wall are so adorable. "They call that the walk of shame around here - you will be judged" LOL. I love the floor patterns.

Thanks Kaylee 😁 We did the walk of shame on our last trip just to avoid the crowds at the ferry dock, and - even though we had a perfectly logical reason - it still felt a little bit shameful lol but I agree about the gift shop! Amazing selection in the resort boutiques 🤩

If it makes you feel any better, our weekdays are nowhere near as glamorous as our weekends 😂 It was a really nice stay, though. Will do it again, but will have to save up for it!

We will always love love love your detailed resort tours! They're super important when it comes to planning trips! I've had to do the walk of shame before, not from there but from Studios to Boardwalk when I was in the college program and having a little too much fun-Venessa 🙃🤢😂

Ahahaha, I think the walk from Studios to Boardwalk is probably about the same as the walk from CityWalk to Sapphire. 😂 Sometimes the memories are worth the shame! …not always, but sometimes lol glad we are able to be a resource for fellow travelers! 😁

Honestly the Amatista food looked better than ‘Ohana 😂 Such a great, informative to the point tour. We tend to ramble & make our tours way longer than needed. The flooring is beautiful in the room. Touch screen mirror ????? We stayed there a few years ago and I don’t remember that or didn’t notice it. Coffee tastes better anyway when you go downstairs & pay for it lol Beautiful view!

We’ve actually been working on pacing for the resort tours; our Caribbean Beach tour was forever long so had to make some necessary tweaks to our style 😁 Glad that it seems to be paying off! The touch screen mirror was definitely the coolest part of the room. Agreed on the coffee, though; and as far as Amatista goes, I actually think I might agree after seeing your Ohana breakfast video! The breakfast buffet at Amatista wasn’t amazing but it wasn’t bad, no better or worse than a complimentary breakfast at the Hampton Inn 😂 I think lunch and dinner are probably better meals to have at that particular spot. Oh my goodness the lobby looks HUGE! The room looks very spacious too (Love the Tangled Loungefly!!) Great view from the room. We normally stay at Disney and just travel to Universal but I love the look of this resort! ^_^

Same for us! We wanted to stay at Universal during this visit so as to take advantage of early park admission (resort guests) and try to snag a ride on the VelociCoaster. Truly, though, the resort was so beautiful, clean and the water taxi so convenient that we would absolutely do it all over again even if we were going during normal hours of operation. ✨ Thanks for watching!

I have found that the mobile pop-up window (when you are still watching a video, but loading channel details beneath it) will always say that you are not subscribed, for some reason. Going to the actual full-loading channel page will show the correct information on whether you are subscribed or unsubscribed. But, I have also automatically (magically?) been unsubscribed from channels that I actively follow before as well - sometimes KZbin is just buggy 😅

So the price of the cabana varies by day/season, which is why we couldn’t pinpoint it during the tour - but I would say as a general rule that it’s only worth it if you’re going to spend half a day at the pool 😜 The room was very comfortable and the resort was A-MAZ-ING…will 💯 stay again. Does the resort offer room service?

It does! We didn't utilize room service since we were eating out/in the parks during most of our stay, but last we heard they were able to deliver food off the menu from any of the onsite (Amatista, Drhum Club, Strong Water) restaurants directly to your room.
