@@anamariabraumuller3552 Phi Nong or not, I’m sure Max just wanted to give a gift that he knew would be more meaningful because he made it, especially since no matter how expensive a gift he gets Nat, he can probably afford it. For someone like Nat who comes from money, but isn’t materialistic, they tend to value this type of gift even more. Also, I doubt expensive jewelry is a gift reserved for lovers only. Family and really good friends typically stay in your life for better or worse and deserve the best gift you can afford, so this comment is weird to me.

But they said they talked a lot and learned more about each other and they’re doing way better now. ❤️❤️ I think that’s one of the reasons why Nat is so touched by Max’s gift and attention here, because I don’t think they do things like this for each other very often. 😊
