I'm excited to see what they will produce. I used to watch Tim Yoder's wood-turning videos. Any relation?

Awesome, just awesome Brad. I love it when a plan comes together. Great build up and wonderful how beekeepers come together to help out. I always think about a few years back when you did the same thing for another beekeeper with those small number NUCs to help out. It's what we do. Love seeing the zombies in your yard. You'll manage them to their fullest in order to make the bees you need, I'm sure of it.

I want to take the time to say thank you. I almost cried when I watched your bee losses and for two reasons. 1) cause I know what the bees mean to you and 2) reality set in for my 100% bee loss last year. Keep the faith brother, God just sent me a swarm that all I had to do was wait and be patient. Either Friday after 2 p.m. or Saturday before 2 p.m. they found one of my hives waiting for them. And yes at 52 I was doing a happy dance in my yard. So thank you for instilling the faith back into me.

I am left without bees 100% at 50 years old from 2022. But I love bees very much. And I hope that someday I will live with bees again and when that day comes I will dance too

BEES and more BEES. YEA!!! Now the fun work starts and the woodshop is done. Hope it works out good. Are you more concerned this year with hive counts or making honey? Wish a person could do both.
@ThatBeeMan3 ай бұрын
Bees vs honey. I look at it this way. Bees make honey. They always do and they always will. Even a small colony, in my area, will make a few frames of honey. I don't worry about the honey. I concentrate on making the most of what I have with the bees and keeping in mind winter preparations, which start now. Whatever I do, the bees will make honey. Yes, I can promote honey but I actually concentrate on having the best outcome in the spring of 2025. I have to work 12 month ahead at times, always building colonies that will be strong on May 1 of next year. The honey will come!
