I've recently started taking them as well (maybe 6 months ago), and I'm majorly struggling at the moment because there is a nationwide shortage of the one I'm on, so the pharmacy doesn't have it and doesn't know when they will. My ADHD is a direct result of the hormone medications I was on for 21 years, and even now 4-years post-hysterectomy, I'm still dealing with the negative side effects (including being significantly overweight despite good eating habits and regular exercise) and the ADHD. I started Vyvanse about a month and a half ago, it has really helped me with focus and motivation for sure. The only issue I had was in the first month I was very nauseous but now it has subsided and everything is going great! It is a high price to pick up for me , I’m not sure if that’s my insurance or not but it’s $35 per refill. All in all , it’s be a life changing experience for me. Love the vlogs and all your videos really, always look for to the next one and I hope everything works out with your meds 😊

Gretchen, I really enjoyed seeing your morning routine. Those breakfast sandwiches on the English muffins looked delicious. I love vlog style videos. I admire you very much, and I enjoy getting an insight into how you do your daily tasks as a person who also has ADHD as well as other things. Since you asked about ADHD medication, I currently take 1mg twice per day of Guanfacine, and it has been helping me a lot with focus, awareness, multitasking, memory, and following through on my tasks.

Hey Gretchen. Hope you and Luke are doing well. I know all about being on ADHD medication. I was on it from when I was a kid until I became a young adult. I'm not on it anymore because for some it didn't show up in drug tests at my doctor's office for 4 straight months so by law my doctor had to take me off of it. Thankfully I since I've been off ADHD medication I haven't had any issues and I haven't needed it.

I take Strattera (atomoxetine) for adhd symptoms, it is not a stimulant in the same was as adderall and vyvanse are but it is stimulating. It has been great, focus and concentration are much better. Good luck on vyvanse
