The leftover food is actually best in the freezer. Just defrost in fridge or countertop. Put the cooking cream in the fridge and it will gradually thaw after some days and you can use it

If you defrost on the counter and shake the cream thoroughly it will be fine. For the left overs as well defrost in water or on the counter and reheat in the pan not the microwave and they will also be very good. The mukimo you can reheat in the pot with some cream or milk and it will also be as good once it dries out. Since they were frozen properly there is no issue. Great vlog as always

Yah, this is what i wanted to type, dont throw them away, just leave them on the counter overnight, in the morning shake and put in the fridge, they will still be cold so...still good

it's safer to defrost inside the refrigerator to reduce growth of microorganisms, all you need to do is plan ahead by moving what you need from the freezer to the refrigerator

Hi Maggie, you can still enjoy your leftover cabbage stew and mukimo. Once frozen it can't go bad. I personally cook alot of food and freeze leftovers for the lazy days. As for the cooking cream you can defrost it on the day you want to use it, but don't use hot water. Deep the bottle in cold water for some time and it's ready for use.

For the cleaning sponges try the safisha brand it stays a little longer the other brands are getting finished fast I have also noticed that in 2-3 days other brands are finished but that one last for approximately two weeks

It’s actually best to store left over in the freezer if you don’t consume in the next day. It prevents bacteria growth as well as preserve the taste in your food. However once you defrost, it is not advisable to refreeze, eat and dispose any excess. You can defrost in the fridge from the freezer then out in the counter. Use direct heat to warm the food thoroughly and no5 a microwaved.

No need to throw away frozen food. Just take it out of the freezer and let it thow/defrost in the sink or kitchen counter and it will be perfectly fine. You can reheat however you like...stove top or microwave. Most good quality glass containers are freezer safe.

Hey Maggie. Thaw frozen things in the fridge if you intend to use them longer. Then once you use return to the fridge. For the food leave at counter to thaw then just warm kawaida

The Bio Cooking cream is long life fpr as long as its not open it can survive outside the fridge until it defrosts then you can use and now store in the fridge.

the reason why the sponge is getting spoiled quickly, is that she is using very hot water and keeping it when has water and also the bleach can make it get spoiled quickly. what you can tell her is that every time she is done cleaning to be keeping the sponge dry and rinse it with clean water every time she is done cleaning.

Looking good Mama... Scotch Brite sponges last longer than any other brands... I've used several. My hack for making the sponges last long is to use the plain green ones to remove dirt first then the ones with both sponge and green part to now wash (with soap) the utensils. They last longer... 👌 I make cream from home from fresh milk, you can just thaw it out in the fridge part and it will thaw out nicely, just keep it there until you finish it. You can cut the african net sponge into smaller pieces and use that for cleaning the house and dishes instead of the foam sponges. Lasts and also dries fast so not much issue with bacteria growing

Just go old school with the washing sponge.dont Judge🙈,I switched to wat our parents used to use n it lasts for upto 6months . Those sponges do nothing at all

The sponge there recommended to change at least twice a week they can be very Crouse n contains a lot of bacteria..have witnessed that at my work place the was using for about a week n at this point it was dry so I didn't think much of it until I turned on the hot water n my dear you would be surprised to see the amount of small worms that was coming out of it it looks so disgusting

Your housekeeper is using the dish sponges badly cause she sees how many they are 😂😂 mine used to add a lot of cooking oil in food and I would refill a lot.. but I started buying 2L instead of a whole 5L, surprisingly now the cooking oil actually lasts 😂😂😂

The sponge maybe you get the fish net though they sold in very remote markets like Gikomba so you will just be sterilizing and using they don't wear out. Just cut into pieces.

It would be great if you could include the prices for those grocery items.😊 Regarding your cleaning sponges....just put some away....out of sight. And let her know it is just one a week or one every two weeks. If that does not work, abandon them and go with a brush with a handle or the gloves with the bristles attached.

For the sponges they look fake, they look like one i got from kamkunji once, instead buy the yellow ones that are found in the supper market, i think they mostly come in 3 packs( just guessing) and trust me they last longer,
