VLOG: New Hair & a New Tattoo

Feeling spoiled with the new podcast episodes and a vlog! 😀 Your hair looks fab! I haven't been into Halloween since my late teens, but I try since we had our daughter. My husband was born and raised in South Africa and immigrated to Canada when he was 14, and they never did Halloween. This year will be the first year we're doing a family costume and our daughter is so excited :P Mostly I just wait for Halloween to get out of the way so the Christmas season can start (already had Kelly Clarkson's new Christmas album playing in the car). Looking forward to hearing the podcast interview 🙂

I personally love Halloween and get really sad with how much its changed now. I absolutely dread November though because it means all the Christmas stuff starts. I like the lights and peppermint everything but that's about it.

Oh! And I love your new star tattoo 🌟⭐ I got my biggest tattoo back in the beginning of the year -- a set of 3 big and two small different styles of snowflakes ❄️ that travel from the upper to mid side on my left. I love them so much. It was nice to have something to plan and look forward to in the thick of pandemic coping :)

I dislike Halloween too. 🙌🏻 Yeah, let’s teach kids their whole lives not to take candy from strangers, then tell them one day a year to knock on strangers’ doors and beg for candy. 😵‍💫🥴 Don’t get me started on opening your door to strangers wearing masks!

Your grandmother used to call Halloween " legalized begging" so I grew up only actually going out once I was about 11 after we moved to Canada, didn't like it, so after that stayed home and gave out the candy (heavy mother's influence for sure🤣) Still don't like it at all!! Nice Vlog❤️

Before my husband died, we always went to a movie for Halloween but now I tolerate it for my granddaughter. P.S. love your hair 👍🏼💟🇨🇦

I had a meeting with my boss in the morning and my whole team later in the day. My boss asked halfway through the second meeting "Virginia, are you wearing a different outfit?". October weather changes drastically sometimes, even if you WFH 🤣 Also, I feel like Scrooge but I don't like Christmas. It's always stressful in my adult years and I actually enjoyed it for once last year when we couldn't get together. People gasp when I tell them that 🤷‍♀️
