Have you looked into endometriosis? Periods that are debilitating are NOT normal and you deserve to have treatment to make them more bearable. Highly suggest talking to your doctor about birth control to ease symptoms. Great vlog! Take care of yourself x

unfortunately the health world is cruel, my male doctor told me for years that it was normal until I changed to a female GP and she finally believed my pain was real. they still won’t test for endometriosis because i’m under 18 :/ I’m on birth control now and I’m so grateful because while the pain is still debilitating and unbearable when I’m on my period I’m not having the extreme pain constantly like I used to :)

Hi alicia quick suggestion, if you get a period cycle tracking app or use the feature on your iphone it can give you a rough estimate on when your period is going to come, it might help with the struggle of getting your period unexpectadly :))

It's completely fine to talk about periods IT'S NORMAL. and sucks. anyway, it's to know and be able to prepare for periods. I use the app P.C. an there are so many apps for it but it tells how high or low the chances are to get pregnant, when your period is coming, ovulation. And also has self-care yoga/mindfulness and sleep things. And you can also put your symptoms in for that day it's really helpful. Take care of yourself and don't be embarrassed for something that is natural and something that can hurt like hell. love you

Meu Deus Alicia, realmente ser mulher não é fácil sei perfeitamente como é sentir a dor de tpm. Eu também, quando fico menstruada, me dá uma saliva estranha na minha boca que mal consigo falar, se eu não ficar de boca aberta ela acumula e me da vontade de vomitar, isso quando sinto cólicas terríveis onde se bebo agua fria, me dá mais cólica, se eu não estiver debaixo de uma coberta, fico suando de calor mas ao mesmo tempo ainda fico morrendo de cólica, se eu tomar remédio meio que isso corta o ciclo e no próximo vez parece que piora ainda mais, a mimha única solução é tentar dormir, mas mesmo assim depois acordo com dor, e não consigo sair da cama durante o dia inteiro, exeto para ir ao banheiro. E é sempre no primeiro dia, não são todos os meses que isso acontece mas é péssimo.
