Thanks for the update! It is coming along great and I love that stencil idea for the floor. I have to agree with you those cubes are awesome. That many must have cost a small fortune though. I have bought some but I use them differently. I make custom quarantine areas with them and zip ties when I rescue sick cats. I also use them for cats that come back from surgery at the vets. Mostly for spay/neuter there so that they can heal without being disturbed and I can keep an eye on them. They are perfect and I can make any sizes I want with shelves for lounging etc. For the door I just leave one without any zip ties on 3 sides then use dog clips to hold the door(s) shut. When the cat is all better and not needing quarantine anymore I just take it all apart again and clean it really well. They store great in my shed for when they are needed again and make great temporary enclosures. :) - Heidi

Yes BlackCat2 I purchase my cube sets at K-Mart and I have just budgeted to purchase a few sets of cubes each month and my stash has grown over several years! GREAT suggestion on how to use these for your animal rescues! [Tiffany]

Cool2Craft That is a great way to do it. I don't have a K-Mart nearby. I usually get mine at Target and keep an eye out for sales to get as many as I can. I pretty well have all I need for the rescue side of things but could use some for actual storage. :) Yeah I found the information online about using them to build cages for rats and bunnies so I thought they would work for me especially considering the temporary needs for them. They are so easy to take apart and easy to sterilize all the small pieces if there was a sick cat in there. I seem to get a lot of rescues in my area with upper respiratory illness. The poor things are usually really thin and can't see from all the junk in their eyes. A quick vet trip and some medication for a few weeks then they are good as new. :) - Heidi
