hi! i’ve been watching your videos for a long time and i hope that your stay in the US gets better with each passing day🤗 i just wanted to let you know that salmon in the US is really not meant to be eaten raw since our food processing laws are much different compared to Korea. eating most raw salmon from the grocery store can greatly increase risk of food poisoning and food-borne illness! just letting you know so you don’t get sick later on💪

Finally caught up on your last few videos and it felt like watching a thriller -action movie with all the things happening, I really empathize with you and hope the path is only sunny from here on out! 🥲🤞🏼best of luck! And please if you feel you can’t afford lunch or dinner try looking at local pantries or mutual aids because more often than not they’ve got free food waiting to be taken home:) ❤❤❤! Take care! We are rooting for u from this tiny lil comment section I promise you! My friends and I enjoy your videos and discuss how much we like them and your attitude, thank u for sharing ur life as always. I didn’t meant to write an essay but here we are… happy holidays & happy new year ☺️

I hope your new place helps you feel more comfortable in your overwhelming situation. I really felt for you when you got lost in that building, the buildings in NY are so old and constantly under renovation yet still somehow falling apart so it’s hard not to get lost. If you’re in the area and need a somewhat peaceful place to do your work, I’d recommend the Whole Foods by Hudson Yards. They have 2 large seating areas; one for Grumpy Cafe (inside the Whole Foods)and one for Whole Foods. There’s also a Matchaful on the first floor of the Whole Foods and the Hudson Yards mall has even more restaurants to check out

this week seems much better than the last, im so happy for you! im wondering, do you enjoy city living or are more used to a quieter life? as someone who grew up in the countryside and currently lives in the suburbs of a mid-size city, watching you navigate new york is exhausting! getting lost in that building is something i'd totally do, i had to laugh because i'd have cried a little haha.

if you ever need a really quiet place to work and you're near Bryant park, the public library there - they have a "reading room" where you need to show your laptop to get in. But it's really quiet and the vibe is nice.

Interesting, the internship is suppose to expose you to American business/office culture huh? Clearly this cannot be a paid internship? Majority of internships in this country are unpaid, don't know about yours. It's extremely unfortunate to come from Korea and this is your experience, I would venture to say if this was a paid internship Housing and office space (not freaking wework, didn't know that was still a thing after Newmarket collapse) would be available. This is really disheartening, you're handling it well. Know that this doesn't just happen yo foreign exchange students. Happened to me transitioning from DC to Boston for school. Ezact same experience minus the internship. You're quite the daring one, you venture to places in Brooklyn that I intentionally avoid as a NY'r.
