it’s been a year since i’ve graduated with my bachelors and i’ve come to terms with everyone going at a different pace and to not be so hard on myself about not having landed a job yet in my field. it’s discouraging at times, so if you’re in my position too just remember we’re still young and have our whole lives ahead of us!

I just graduated with my bachelors in middle level education, and it’s weird because I just got a high school English job that I will be starting in the fall. After spending so much time specifically focusing on middle school teaching and students, and it’s weird to now being going to into somewhat unknown territory. But, I am excited for the possibilities. Congratulations, Steph. You will definitely figure out where your heart is when it comes to a career, and I’m so excited to see what you do.😇✨🌞

Omg steph!! I’m a BT and I sooo recommend it! I’m doing my bachelors right now and going for my BCBA ( Board Certified Behavior Analyst) which is awesome! I recommend becoming a behavioral technician first and you even get to get a taste of what the supervisors do! 😊

ahhhhh it sounds like we’re on a similar path! I graduated last year majoring in psychology and communication but I’m going to be participating in my commencement this year (next week!) and I’m super excited to finally close that chapter of my life. since I graduated, I got a job as a behavior interventionist doing ABA therapy for kids in a school setting and it’s been great! (a little rough because it’s all been through zoom but working with the kiddos makes it worth it) I’ll hopefully be going to grad school for school psychology starting next year and I’m super excited :)
