VLOG | Visiting The Hague & when things don’t go our way 🤍🙏🏽

Here’s what I got up to this week travelling to The Hague and Amsterdam. God also taught me a lesson when it comes to saying that we want to trust him more! Trusting him means that even when things dont go our way, we know that God knows best!!

Same! I'm 26 and getting baptized in two weeks thank God! I relate to this so much Deborah thank you for being transparent it makes me feel less alone in my journey. I had a moment like this this very morning when something in my finances changed and I was like but I thought this was just a blessing but just pray for me he told me he has it so why am I even questioning it but it definitely isn't easy. Someone really is happy to be under the sunlight. This land is beautiful. God has been teaching me through a few seasons to be content with His plans when mine don't go the way that I think that they should. When you mentioned the sunset being God’s way of showing you his love… (btw that sunset made me shed some tears it was so beautiful) but when things don’t go our way it’s making me think that maybe I should expect an unexpected surprise from the Lord. Maybe he’s just trying to catch our attention you know away from the noise and just rest right where we are. His reasons are the best even though we can not see why he allowed such things to happen, but let us expect an unexpected shower of love that we just didn’t know we needed. He’s beautiful like that. He’s the father that gives unexpected gifts. ❤️

When you look at the weekly plan, there’s always a day where the scripture for that day is printed in bold. That’s the day for which the devotional is written. I get it for the sunset that you would have missed it if the flight was not delayed but then l think because He is God, couldn't he have made that sunset to be earlier so that you're still in the original flight and see it? Just wondering... I just received another rejection after my 100th interview after 11 months of praying for a job and l felt like "God l trust you, but couldn't you have made this job mine? Why do l have to go to other interviews when l prayed that that one would be the last, l'm tired... Almost a year of unemployment is not easy even though I have His peace and joy, l still need to pay for my bills, can't He just make any job my job?
