**SPOILERS** IF YOU ARE WATCHING THE SERIES "FROM" Firstly, OMG it was totally worth it to wait in line for 2 hours to see Santa. I really feel like the mall built the Santa experience with not only the children in mind, but the parents too. I was also happy to see that at least your child (and hopefully all children) did not have to sit on Santa's lap or be held by Santa...which is totally unnecessary in 2024. Secondly, I have been wanting to get your about Tabitha and Jim/Tabitha and Jade's relationship in From. In the last episode the dynamic between Jim and Tabitha was so disheartening. I know some people were not fans of Jim, but I think he tried to be there for his family, in which he wasn't there for them, before they went to Fromville. The last moments we see of Jim was him talking to Tabitha about her utterance that she and Jade had a relationship and a child before. Jim's face was so bewildered that his wife accepted that information (because we know as viewers that Jim doesn't believe in the visions and voices people hear in Fromville.) I think overall we see Jade and Tabitha get really close because they are both fueled to explore their hallucinations/memories separately and together. Jade went off on Jim for not supporting his wife and taking care of his businesses with his family. Jade played the music to Tabitha's vision and they were able to see the child together (seemingly sharing a telepathic link.) Then Tabitha tells Jim that she had a child with Jade in past life, almost like their eternal soul mates. Jim stubles away to the place where he had his family and a future with them taking a happy road trip together in the RV. Jim even has a rose- or gilded-color flashback where he remarked to Tabitha about missing those type of moments. Then he goes, viciously...in a way his mouth, his words cannot give voice to what may be rage or confusion that Tabitha is succumbing to the town. Given that Julie is a storywalker (I believe that's what Ethan called it) I do believe we will see Jim again, beyond the families memories. However, I am curious whether Jim will ever show up in the series as revealing his thoughts/feelings about Tabitha and Jade. I am curious whether Jade and Tabitha will be closer (since they are spiritually entwined like soul mates) given their proximity to each other and now that Jim is gone. Or, will the show keep it as a deep friendship.

I have been meaning to recap my thoughts and feelings about the show as a whole and as far as the finale, I did post my TikTok of my recap of that episode. So my thoughts would be in there. But I agree I think that it is really trippy how Tabitha and Jade already got along so well and he seemed to really understand her and give her the space to be who she is in a way that I think threatened Jim. Jim was using fear to try and control Tabatha and it just drove her further away. It’s much in the way that he would try to Block out negative feelings about the death of their son and respond by shutting down her talking about it. They both did in fact. Their argument really revealed whatever the dynamic was before they got there and it’s really unfortunate because when they aren’t arguing, they actually do really well together. He seems to really want to be a family man and really want to have his family together but he definitely needed to work out that character flaw of letting fear overtake his good judgment. That’s exactly what got him killed in the end of the season finale. He let fear take over instead of listening to his daughter. I do think that Jim will be back on the show much in the way that other characters who have died will be back. I think that Julie will try in vain to fix the past. I don’t think it will work. I think that she’ll need the help of Randall and Marielle in order to complete the steps of story walking that will help unlock the answer to getting out of the town. I hope that we only get five seasons because I don’t think that this series should jump the shark. I hope that they learn from their past mistakes with Lost.
