Gotta say, most Boston travel blogs (and travel vlogs in general) are pretty bad, but this was really fun to watch as a former Bostonian. This one of the best I’ve seen. It really shows that you are passionate about the city, learning about the history, and you describe things intelligently. Thank you for making the city look so fun! Come back in the summer!

Even though I grew up on cape cod, which is an hour and a half south east of Boston, I love Boston and I’ve been going up there since I was a little kid. It’s definitely a great place to go to if you want to experience every little price of culinary expertise. From the north ends Italian cuisine to the back bays seafood. Just amazing

My mom is from Ipswich and I spent a lot of time in Eseex County, but not much time in Boston until 2000. Been back twice since then. My brother and SIL love long weekends in Boston.

Glad you enjoyed Boston. I would make only one suggestion, travel with an umbrella! Just leave one in your suitcase and you’ll never have to worry about it not having one. I’ve carried one for years. It really comes in handy 😁

Very tourist-y but the New England Aquarium is unreal. The best part is the giant fish tank at the center of the building!

I loved this. My dad was from Houston and the Air Force assigned him to a radar site in Hamilton north of Boston. He fell in love with my mom and the area. I've lived in Wichita Falls and Dallas since '86, but I love going back to Massachusetts.

My first and only time on that observation deck was in 1968 or something like that. Your video shots make me want to see that view again, especially with all the changes in Boston in 50+ years. For a long time the Hancock and Prudential towers were the go-to places for sky-high views but one closed its observation deck after 9/11 and the Pru just last year. They may reopen but until then maybe the former U. S. Custom House tower, now hotel, offers the best view.

Highly recommend going to Bovas instead of Mike's or modern pastry. If you're into speakeasy type vibes Hecate, The Wig Shop, and Yvonne's are amazing

actually if you add up all of the cities and towns around boston to equal the square mileage of houston city proper then boston has a larger population. its just that the actually city border is a lot smaller than most other cities

So glad you got to go! I love how it is a "small" big city. Next time you should definitely tour Fenway - it's an amazing tour, even if you don't like baseball - it's so historic. Also, Cheers... It's cliché but it's also very good and you must do Mike's Pastry (cash only in the North End). In warmer weather, you need to do the swan boats and also go for a duck boat tour. Any event at TD Garden is amazing and a climb up the Bunker Hill monument will be your workout for the day!

The subway is convenient and the city is very walkable. You only need a car if you want to visit an exurb that's not on the commuter rail line.

This is only the old side of boston. The historic side of you must. City life in boston is really fun but the dangerous parts aren’t. Stick to the tourist parts and Fenway. (No one here eats clam chowder or clams that’s gross)
