Sat Sri akal ji,I’m from Dera ghazi khan you guys were very close to the fort it is inside the boundary line where lovely paa jee jumped in you guys missed it nearly about 100 yard on the his right side, it’s now officers residence but still you can see its ruins there are some graves and swimming pool there but nice to see you guys be careful and please don’t travel night not only for safety but also there is no big cities around there thanks and enjoy

The town was founded by Sir Col Robert Groves Sandeman a British Indian Army officer, in the later part of the 19th century and named Fort Munro after Colonel, later Major-General, Andrew Aldcorn Munro who was commissioner of the Derajat Division and Multan Division. There was not any fort over there. I think the word fort was used for a village or small town.
