hi. Yes this is Scott and Mitch from Pentatonix. They had a separate channel. ( Superfruit). Where they had a weekly vlog as they traveled around with Penatonix It’s sometimes funny and sometimes they sing and it’s amazing. This is one of the few Superfruits episodes that is serious. It’s a tribute to those who were murdered at the Pulse Nightclub mass shooting in Florida. All of the singers here are part of the LGBTQ+ community and the shooting was at a gay club. This is a Katy Perry song. And it’s so beautiful

Yes, they are the same people. Scott Hoying (tall blond) and Mitch Grassi (in the beanie) :) They sang it in tribute to the victims of the 2016 shooting at Pulse night club in Florida that targeted LGBT + people. All of them here are part of the LGBT + community.

Prop’s to you, being a dad first, yes I saw that ❤. I can’t listen to this without getting chills, absolutely incredible harmonies and individual vocals, but also the reason why they did this song and what it means to them. This was done after a hate crime shooting at a LGBTQ bar. Hate is tragic and it’s taught, no one is born hating, it’s learned. Sharing love and peace to everyone ❤

For sure check out more Superfruit. Scott and Mitch do some great vocal performances on their vlog channel and put out a full EP of original songs called "Future Friends." I agree with Michelle, the Empire Medley is amazing, and the Beyonce, too. I would add their Rihanna Anti Medley, and from their EP, everything, but the official video of Guy.exe is a fun way to start.

Oh yeah....Guy.EXE is quite hilarious. And I'll add the videos of their Frozen medley ( with Kirstie from PTX + some adult beverages) made for a fun but amazing video...and then there's Defying gravity ( a song from the Broadway play Wicked...a play about the relationship between Glenda the Good Witch and Elphaba the Wicked Witch of the West from the movie The Wizard of Oz). ALWAYS check for the bloopers on any Superfruit video...they come on right after the big Subscribe notice/logo.

I'm so glad you finally got to this one. It touches everybody who sees it - it's a powerhouse of a song performed by five of the most phenomenal singers out there today, and every time I see/hear this video I take away something different from it. It's a reminder of one of the most important lessons: be the good in the world, be better, DO better, keep moving forward even when others want to see you fall because it's you who will leave the world a better place than you found it.

Superfruit recommendations: Hip Hop Goes Broadway 1 + 2 and a Frozen medley for some fun. Then they have Feeling Myself, and medleys of Rhianna's Anti, Beyonce, Evolution of Lady GaGa & Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, and Defying Gravity (I'm sure I forgot something). They also have a full album of originals complete with videos (for all but 1), which are fun and different to what they do with Pentatonix (for a start it's not a capella. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. And as someone else pointed out Scott & Mario duet Lost On You, is stunning.
