And everybody got along regardless of race or political party. It was such a good time to grow up. I miss those days.

I am not a country music fan but I am a fan for anyone that talks or sings about the world when I was young. We did not have video games till HS aside from Pong and some basic Atari games. And even then, that was mostly for rainy days. We had basic cable tv which was 24 channels and even then, 4-5 of them no one watched. But ya know, life was awesome. Riding our bikes all over the county, hanging out in the back woods, board games, bookshelves filled with books, record players and great music on the radio. And we were all friends with everyone despite all the BS that is dividing people today. Gods, what I would give to go back.

It’s Good to Be Us is my favorite song by him. It’s really fun to see the broad range of music you do reaction videos to ☀️🌼

He is talking about the late 1970s to early 1980s, especially in small town America. Did I mention that Bucky is one of my celebrity crush?

@@lightningcat82 , where I grew up too ... but we had cable by 1985, lol, and I graduated high school in 1990. My younger sisters were born in 1980 and 1985 and mostly grew up like this too (and I lived at home until after almost 10 years of college.
