@McDonalds Farmer Hi thanks for your view, but really we all no that a food product that's mass produced aren't healthy, with cheap ingredients unhealthy additives. Once again why buy expensive shit, Not everyone can afford these so the three ladies nicely tested quiet a few boxes to help us on our way to xmas.

We regularly get the standard sized Lidl Favorina ones which are deep filled, quite sweet but very moist and yummy 😋 But I do like the Bakery 4 packs of Tesco ones...they have no fancy design on but a lovely crumbly pastry and a moist, tasty filling. Do make my own with stars on using ground almonds in the pastry for the crumbly texture.

Watch out for the dogs! Mincemeat is apparently poisonous to dogs . Last Christmas our two devoured a box of six on Christmas Eve. Ended up in the vets all over Christmas with a £600 bill😩

The expensive mince pies did not appeal to me at all.... perhaps if I liked mince pies it would help lol. My husband loves them, so when he's tucking into his I will definitely give aldi's black gateau xmas pies a go. Loved the taste testing, Dina definitely gave 100% effort🙋‍♀️
