Vlogmas 2022 Week 1: Weekend Trip, The Theatre and a Gingerbread house | Carolina Pinglo

The first week of Vlogmas! I went on a weekend trip to Niagara on the lake, saw White Christmas as a play, made a gingerbread house and more! I love daily vlogging and sharing what I'm up to this holiday season!

I am a big fan of your channel and admire your confidence wearing vintage everyday 🥰. I live in Japan and we have an entire town just with vintage stuff and I started wearing 1940s and 1950s clothes and I feel so comfortable and I think it suits me more than modern clothes🤭PS : I will be in Toronto next week and can't wait to shop vintage stuff there😍

Madilyn here from Iowa. I was screaming in the store, get the Gingerbread house already put together because I can never get the walls to stick without a ton of frosting. I love your vlog of your weekend trip. You are so photogenic in everything you wear and do. I'm 72 and the 40s and 50s are right up my alley. Just finished my Scrapbook of my Mom before she had my twin sister and me. So, the styles you are wearing reminded me of my Mom when she was single and had adorable hairdo like yours. Refreshing to watch you love that era.

I'm not sure what its called, I had it made based on a vintage photo. However when I had bangs ear muffs were the best!

Well, you've tempted me to go see White Christmas as every year I've been watching it on TV and it just isn't Christmas without it. I'd love to see it on the stage:). Question, is it set in the 40's and do they do the "Abraham" number and "Mandy"? Those are my two favs and I'll be disappointed if they don't do it:) Great vlog can't wait to see the next!

The play is set the same year as the movie ! So 1954! (Expect for the war scenes at the beggining obviously) no those dance numbers are not in the play. The main songs that are sung in the movie are in it, plus a few new ones ! They changed a few things in the plot but If you like the movie I think you’ll enjoy the play ! I thought it was wonderful ! 😊

I really enjoyed your 1st VlogMas. I am going to a bed and breakfast in Rochester, NY from December 17 through December 22nd. Your Vlog inspired me to film my visit there. However, I don’t know how to edit and make filming fancy like you, but what I make, I will let you know.

Such a magical vlog, it's like a Christmas village come to life!!! Never actually seen White Christmas, definitely on my list of things to finally watch this year! ☺ Well, Jessica Chelsea is doing Vlogmas for the first time ever (she's been away from KZbin for a while), really enjoy her videos her personality is so fun!!! And Taylor Morello is also doing Vlogmas and she lives in NYC so we get to see it all festive through her vlogs 🌃✨🥰 Your gingerbread house turned out so great!!! Not going to lie the repeated collapsing was funny, but yes, go for the pre-built one always!!! Oh 2 smaller videos sounds great, but totally do what is easiest for you! 😉
