Dear Amanda, the bear paw quilt is really adorable. I also like the colors - they are screaming Autumn and the bear paws could be seen as leaves from far as well. Did you also enjoy some of the teas already? I just saw you putting them in a tin and I know it's summer for you right now. I just hope that they taste as wonderful as their descriptions are and that you will enjoy them. Regards from Germany Stephanie

How gorgeous is that quilt?! The brown backing is the perfect compliment to the autumn colors in the bear claws. Well done!

Love your quilt. Great idea to use those threads. It looks like an Autumn quilt and maybe the paws resemble leaves. Just a thought. Hope you are having cooler weather. Hugs.

Yay! 🎉🥳 Congratulations on reaching the finish line. Whenever my daughter would crave one of those Boba milk tea drinks. I'd always order myself an iced earl grey milk tea without boba 😋. Very refreshing.

I love how your bear paw quilt turned out! QUESTION: * I have 4 packs of 5in squares- 2 Moda charm packs from one fabric line, as well as 2 Moda charm packs from an associated fabric line. *Do you think I might have enough fabric/squares to make my own scrappy bear paw quilt- kind of like yours? *I also have around 4.5yds of backing fabric.. Do you think that would that be enough? I only ask because both fabric lines are now discontinued…
@AmandaRolfe10 ай бұрын
I think you'll definitely have enough to do at least nine full blocks but possibly not enough to do sixteen like I have. I don't want you to start it and then realise you don't have enough fabric, especially since it's discontinued. Hope this helps. x

Your quilt is gorgeous! Your hard work really paid off! Do you have a place to hang your quilt? You could put a sleeve on the back and hang it. It’s a shame not to display it somewhere!

I'm currently hanging it in my sewing room where I often like to just sit and stare at it's beauty! 😊

Hi Amanda.. I love your quilt and am wondering if it was a kit or did you pick the colors???

The fabrics are from an advent calendar box I opened in last year's (2022) vlogmas series. It was expertly curated by Claire who owns a small fabric/quilting shop called The Stitch Saloon in South Australia. 😊
