I have a funny story to tell you; I was napping yesterday afternoon with my computer on my lap having set you-tube to your vlogmas on automatic play. I went to sleep…I don’t think I was sleeping sound…because I dreamed I was at your house with you as you were doing all the things in your vlog!!! I went shopping with you, watched you cook, decorate with you…😂. It was so neat. I thought it was a nice dream!! I colored a page with you, too. Oh, my! I won’t soon forget that dream.

Hi Darlene! I have enjoyed watching Vlogmas with you! It was just what I needed this month. It's been such a wierd sad, yet joyful year. Not many understand, but I know you get it. It's so hard to be everything for everyone and feel we are resonating for others health and well being, advocating for them, and then the added weight of the festivities and trying to do it all to make Christmas "Christmas " for everyone else. It's exhausting. You keep me motivated to keep on keeping on! T'was the night before Christmas with the little mice was always one of my favourites as well. "Christmas bells are calling Santa, Santa..." brings a smile to my face, and many happy memories play in my mind! Chicken bones are one of my mom's favourites. Old fashioned candies. Those and hoorhounds! Lol. What a horrible name. It's way worse then saying everybody poops I think! I look forward to having a cup of tea with you tomorrow.

What a great vlog, Darlene...so heartfelt; sharing your feelings and memories of past Christmases. Your Dad's candies and the silly fish, wanting a kiss from Sarah! I think we all struggle during the holidays. That's why I'm so thankful that you sacrifice your time and set your feelings aside to make videos for us...thank you so much! WOW! Your color art is improving exponentially! The lantern was a work of art! So glad it's such a blessing to you in your down-time. Of course, my favorite part was when all of you were squeezed together on the couch, watching movies. Linus made me laugh with his indignant look when HE didn't get all the attention, lol! Thanks again so much, for being such a bright spot in my holiday, dear friend...XO

Christmas will be a lot simpler for me this year…I feel overwhelmed so it has to be that way….I was in the hospital for a week then my son in laws father passed away, then my son had to put his dog down & now my kids have Covid so I’m hoping we can all be healthy at Christmas to spend time together ❤️

Good Monday morning, Darlene it's raining again in Toronto. I was feeling sad yesterday until I received some devastating news. I live in an apartment in a Co-Op. A lady that I 've knew for 30 years past away. She was only in her early 60's. That news hit me like a rock. I felt horrible about feeling sorry for myself. I'm so grateful that I 'm still here at 75 for my family.

Darlene, you should frame some of your coloring pages, to display for your Christmas decor. They are so cute. It looks like we have a similar order from Bulk Barn. I bought my Mom some of the Chicken Bones to put in her Christmas goodies! Big hugs. I understand how you feel with all our responsibilities but we need Self Care time, too! ❤

Perfect timing for Hunter at 5:30 whining over the cool whip 😅(pup cup) WOW I love the lantern !! That is gorgeous!! You could actually make a December calendar for next year! Or a framed wall collage, or a “winter album” for the coffee table; carefully cutting them out and putting them in a plastic sleeve binder! You are quite talented !! You’re “everybody poops” brings back a memory, a song, actually. The original, ‘everybody hurts’ by REM… long story sort, just replace ‘hurts” with ‘poops’ !! 😅 LOL! Darn straight that ceiling fan is on! Heck! Just snuggle up with him if he gets cold. It was 72* in phoenix today (meh 🤮) Andrew has come such a long way! He seems a bit more relaxed and forgiving with his/your schedule when things don’t go as planned. At 22:00 the supervisors are definitely looking for the yearly bonus! OHMIGOSH!! The mice!! How awesome! Thank you so much for sharing all the boys. Hunter’s nose is starting to gray from all the pets you give him❤❤ Love the sopranos! Ohmigosh! All my favorites in this one! You outdid yourself girl!! Love the snow drive. You’re such an amazing person. I just love you! You deal with autism, dementia, your you tube subbies… And successfully make everyone happy. Good morning Darlene When you showed your bulk barn order those choc covered cream choc brought back memories as that was something we had at Christmas too. They had more flavors and like kids do i would take and pick a bit of the choc off... Without making it too obvious so i could see the color of the filling first lol. Yes i got caught 😊 we used to have a small amount of a variety of candy sweets but our favorites were mandarin oranges, Halva and family recipes for special cookies handed down for generations. Our fave part was the getting together with Aunts and Uncles and cousins galore . Thank you for helping all of us to bring back some of those memories of the past ❤❤❤

My dad sometimes would bring home the good stuff (bakery bread, Smuckers jam, gerkins pickles, etc) while my mom frugally shopped for weekly groceries. It made dad the hero that night for sure, lol. I feel like old people now, reliving all these old memories from so long ago. I am only in my 50's, but it was another lifetime for sure.
