Hey Claire I think that style of lights you’re supposed to put the bit where they all join at the top of your tree and then each strand hangs down to the bottom from there. Like a skirt if that makes sense!! You arrange them from that point of that makes sense and wiggle/weave them through the branches x

I wondered that but the battery case is too far near the top so it wouldn't work....😘

Christmas lights, garden lights and solar lights are the actual bane of my life So much so that they are the only thing that has more than once reduced me to tears and jumping on every bulb Buy a pre-lit tree in the sales Clare and preserve your sanity 🏃‍♀️💨🎄

Oh Claire there's so much pressure at Xmas to have everything just so. Please don't beat yourself up, due to many reasons including health I have not bought a single gift or even put up decs I just haven't got it in me and that's ok. Me and my partner will have a yummy Xmas dinner and some nice bits of food preordered from m and s and that will be it. Be kind to yourself x also one more thing I love your flat especially the windows into the kitchen ❤️ Ps I will be giving money instead of gifts lol I'm not a complete scrooge this yr lol

Shopping at this time of year is carnage, I don’t like the crowds anymore. Tree lights drive me mad it’s one things I usually delegate but had to do it this year. I see Homebase and closing down and The Range have bought some of them. Hope you have a better Sunday x

I really hope you find your lights. The embellishment to the bed did look lovely though. Some days are just pants and can’t be unpants’ed. Gin or cup of tea and then get in to bed and try again tomorrow I say. Wishing you a much happier Sunday. X
