Martyn, what did I like about this video? EVERYTHING, it was fun, Kew Gardens looked amazing, it was fun to see your Bear and Elf sticking up out of your bag as if they were enjoying the trip too. Nice to see you and Mark having a cheeky drink and then back to your apartment and beautiful Christmas tree. So, thanks for it all, looking forward to seeing your finished hats for the kids for Christmas ❤

As a Canadian with no experience with the tube nor London this was amazing. The night views of London were fabulous. The best.

Your elf is so cute! Love the jumper. The light show was awesome. You don't leave me to the directions either. I'm still working on my Stephen west shawl knit a long. Go go dynamo. I'm past the brioche, thank God! I'm at the part were you are making the wedges. Taking forever. The whole shawl is taking forever. I'm usually a lot faster doing these? Presents are bought and wrapped. Tree is up. Next is grocery shopping for cookie supply's and the dinner stuff for Christmas. I'm already tired! lol Thank you for taking time out of your busy days to take us along. I love your videos.

My sister and I (Australia) were in London in August staying at Lancaster Gate. We caught a bus from there en route to Westminster Abbey. However we stuffed up and got off at Westminster Cathedral. We wandered around for hours, saw lots of cool things and finally found the Abbey. Those who wander are sometimes lost but we saw so much more. We did master the buses and tube fairly quickly after that, but only what we needed to know! Thanks so much Martyn for your great video. I love London too!

That was a great trip to London. Kew Gardens is so beautiful. The light show was fabulous! I was in London at Easter 1985. I somehow managed the Tube by myself a couple of times. I spent Easter Monday at the Tate. Your travels are always so interesting. I love the flower for your Toft project. It's really beautiful. Thank you.

Thank you Martyn for taking us with you on your lovely trip! Public transportation (don’t get me wrong-very important-all the things)….seriously..could they make it any more confusing? Do they do that on purpose? I always feel like I’m the only one who’s lost. So happy you got to visit with Toft AND teach someone new to crochet! Memories! We’re getting down to the panic time for Christmas…..what/who have I forgotten…I must go make lists..and knit..and bake. Speaking of baking…how are the Christmas cakes?

Such a brilliant video today Martyn! Toft really seem to look after their crocheters with a fabulous venue like Kew! The light show looks amazing but sadly I’m too far away to visit. Thank you Martyn.

I have never owned a car, but I have a great sense of direction. When I go on road trips with friends, I'm the front seat navigator. This baffles my friends as I don't drive a car. I'm a public transit user and know my way around Vancouver, BC quite well.

That was so much fun! I live in London and despite having travelled a lot over the years on the Tube, I am still struggling with some of the routes lol. Also, you made me giggle with your stories about your sense of direction, because, getting myself and other people lost is a talent of mine!! 🤣

Lovely trip to London! I understand your confusion over public transport. Smiling, because IF we were ever to meet-we better not travel together if we want to get to our destination. The workshop looks like lots of fun. Loving all of your vlogmas videos.

Thank you for sharing your adventure with us! It was great. The lights are absolutely astounding! I am good with directions - if I'm not in a city. The buildings and such mess with my internal compass. You can put me in the middle of a farm field and I can find my way home. Put me in the middle of a suburb and I'm lost. Your elf reminds me of someone I know. Hmmmmmm...

Seeing you at that tube map brought back memories (and hives) of me trying to get to a job interview on that exact line 25 years ago! I ended up at the wrong end of London and needless to say I didn’t get the job😂 I ended up living and working in Germany instead.

When are you decorating your cakes? You would make an amazing teacher I think. And I don’t know how you are going to accomplish everything on your list. I am exhausted just thinking about it. Btw, I had to shovel snow for about 50 minutes this morning and 75 minutes at 6 pm when I got home from work. The temp was a very not nice -18C in the morning and -18C in the afternoon. Not exactly the same as being at Kew Gardens… I’m not gonna lie, my tootsies & fingers were getting a bit chilled even in my heavy ski gloves in the evening. Gonna take a preventative muscle and back ache pill before hitting the sack early.

@EmilioThumbgusset20 сағат бұрын
I don't understand this business about "jumpers". I know that you mean sweaters, but really, how did this term come about? It's easy to understand "sweater"- you put one on, you get warm, and maybe you start sweating, hence- "sweater". When you guys put on a jumper, do you start jumping?🤔
