Love your wool winding technique - would love one of those wooden thingys but I just wrap mine around a big cushion and it works just the same. Lovely to see Alfie again 😻

Hi Carol. I used to have a swift and ball winder but always got in a knot. Much prefer hand winding anyway 😊

It’s so nice that your daughter crochets and I hope you managed to sort out the yarn tangle. We watched The Nativity a couple of weekends ago when my grandchildren came to stay and first time I have seen it. Your hat and hand warmers look very cosy 😊

Hi Elaine. My mum makes all the birthday cakes. This one made me laugh as the icing decorations was so messy. The lemon drizzle cake was delicious though 😊

It’s lovely that you can share your love of craft with your daughter, I keep trying with my boys 😜

Hi and thanks for crafting. To be honest she only learnt to crochet when doing her Duke of Edinburgh award. I’d tried numerous times when she was younger and it always ended in an argument. She is now a very confident and proficient crocheter and is often learning new patterns and stitches on KZbin. But it is lovely to see her use that skill 😊

Aww that is amazing that is how I learned with Duke of Edinburgh but as an aging adult, me and a group of colleagues learned together in 2016 and to be honest I cherish my skill it has taken me through some tough times, it’s lovely that you can share the love of yarn with her now though it’s never too late. I want to learn how to knit my dream is to knit myself a sweater I just can’t afford the time ATM I used to knit as a child but only a few rows back and forth, I have all the tools but just not the time especially with so many Christmas makes I am trying to complete, one day….

@@tishikinsyarnin2844 make time for you too. If you’ve got the basic skills you can just grow and develop. There are so many KZbin tutorials for stitches and knit alongs for socks and sweaters. Don’t feel guilty for knitting for you. Enjoy 😊
