Hi Alison. Gonk name suggestions Smiggles, Twinkle, Forest (you get the idea). Looks like you had a good time out. You do take good care of your skin. I have a very lazy approach, I suffer from rosacia, so my skin doesn't like expensive products, and I find the best face cream is either Aldi or Lidl's own makes which are usually under £5 (win win). I don't specifically cleanse and I use soap in the shower, so whatever soap I use on my body I also use on my face. I don't often wear makeup (lazy is my theme), but when I do I tend to go light, I'm not a fan of heavy make up and definitely no slug eyebrows for me 🤣. I do always take make up off though.

I didn’t really bother until a few years ago I wish I had got interested earlier. Ruan mentioned how she had improved her rosacia in her vlogmas at the weekend x
@annscott403118 сағат бұрын
@ I’ve had rosacea since my early 20’s (now 56 😳) so have avoided the sun quite a lot and it does seem to have preserved my skin a bit. Yes I did see Ruan’s vlog. You did mention dry skin on your legs and I’ve definitely had dry skin for as long as I can remember, so post shower I usually slap the lotion on. Oh the things we have to do eh. 🙄😂

I asked Carl as I’m not from here He doesn’t think so La Sagess ( not sure on the spelling) is just across from it It was lovely
@helentjacksonКүн бұрын
Hi, yes it was more of a residential childrens home I think. As Carl says it wasn't La Sagesse (my school) - that was opposite, that's the one that looks like a castle. You can't beat Jesmond Dene House for tea, it's lovely.

Hi Alison I have very sensitive eyes can you recommend any brand of make that will be suitable, that I can wear all day rather than a couple hours, then have to take it off, tia x
@SewLikeDottyКүн бұрын
Goodness Julie that’s a tricky one. I was having a think - I don’t specifically know any formulation but I’ve a couple of suggestions as I get it because if I react to a fragrance I’ve a red itchy rash for 7 days. Pin pointing the ingredient you react to is something I’ve found tricky So…. Pampered Wolf is someone I follow on KZbin and instagram and really respect she also has qualifications and may be able to advise It would take time but gradually working your way around brands that do demonstrations in department stores ( you could try a different mascara on each eye) they use disposable spoolies to apply so there’s no cross contamination Also asking if they have mascara samples we recently got some from Dior I hope theses ideas may help I love My Mascara by Sculpted By Aimee. I don’t have the sensitivity in my eyes that you do but I had no irritation from it post cataract surgery The issue is similar as with fragrance for me - you don’t want to buy then get home and react then it’s just a waste of Good luck - keep me posted x

@ Thank you for your advice Alison, I will have to investigate, and watch and contact the Pampered Wolf, I have tried various brands and I’m currently wearing the body shop mascara, for sensitive eyes, which I can wear a little bit longer than the others but only about 4 hours. Thanks again, have a lovely Christmas and all the best for 2025 🎄🎄
