Thank you so so much for this tutorial :) I just came across this idea also on Pinterest and have been hesitant to paint free hand on candles, I am def going to give this a go! Plus who doesn't love adorable mushrooms?!

Love it :) Is it safe to burn the candles with all that acrylic paint on? Does it make any smell?

Thank you! And Yes! They are safe to burn after a few hours of the paint drying, as long as you use water-based, non-toxic acrylic paint!

Non-toxic acrylic paint is still acrylic paint. Which means it's a plastic. Imagine the fumes it creates when it's burned. Don't do it.

These are all painted free hand and don't have a pattern, but feel free to copy what you see and have fun with it!
