Sandy, thank you for doing vlogmas! You are one of the knitters who inspired me to start this craft 7 years ago. You have a beautiful family and I enjoy you sharing not only your knitting but your cooking and favorite things along the way. Letting ads play is a small way to show appreciation for all that you bring to the community! My kids have gifted me several of your project bags for Christmas over the years and always have a project in them in December next to the couch where I knit and watch vlogmas.

Yarn/crafts are an enormous industry and the competition is tough. It's nice to hear you support other's in the industry and you have a stellar reputation as I hear other podcasts mention your name. Also, your nail polish colour choices are lovely and you have an enviable mug collection.

Costco - holds the dubious distinction of the only store with a city police officer to direct the christmas crunch traffic - grid lock on a regular basis so after a few years the city installed a set of traffic lights just for that Cosco. I ventured in there once and it's definitely a place one enters with a grocery list - target shopping only (a store map would help). My idea of retail therapy is a yarn/craft shop - that said a to-do list for those shops might be a good idea as one can dreamily cruise through the aisles and forget time and any set budget. Keep calm and carry on - I recommend hot cocoa or herbal tea after a Costco experience. Have a great evening.

Dear Sandy. Listen - You Tube is a part of your livelihood! You give us sooo much joy with vlogmas, and of course the adds should be there for you, absolutely ❤ Also, I am a new member of your patreon and so happy about it 🙂

I love your vlogs and enjoy learning about your life. I also have two sons in college so your stories are relatable, plus I have an adult daughter. Thank you for sharing. ❤ Side note: It’s awesome that you can get poutine at Costco in Canada!

Thank you so much for looking into the ad situation! My husband is also a content creator, and those ads do add a small income trickle :) I just wish there was a way to pick and choose your ads. I don't know how they get tailored, but I tend to get the 10 - 40 minute ads. Sometimes that's all the break time I have I must be hungry because seeing that "food porn" clip, I'm going to head to Tipsy Cow for some poutine! They're the only place I know of in the Seattle area that makes it (correctly)

Thanks for your comments on ads. In addition to your Vlogmas I also watch Christina @Chelsea Yarns, and Amanda @ Sweet Skein O Mine. I noticed just recently that there are more ads on all of your channels. Love all of your vlogs and I’m always inspired. Thanks to you my cookbook collection is growing! 😊

Glad you were able to haul in your Costco stuff with help from the boys. Costco Pizza sure helps when one is too tired to cook during the pre-Christmas lead up! ❤🥰🎅🏻🎄🎄🎄🎄

I think you should leave the ads in! I can skip many of them, and you should be able to have the ads in to help support you and your channel. As a viewer who loves your content, watching a few ads here and there is one tiny way I can support you, and is no bother at all. Thank you for another lovely Vlogmas.

Thanks for doing Vlogmas - it’s been fun to follow along -love the knitting content & advents and the baking ( raspberry bars). I really love the retro advent calendar with just the picture - reminds me of my childhood - I need to try and find one of those for next year.

I miss shopping at Costco but I definitely don’t miss carrying the groceries in the house! I don’t mind the commercials, I feel like watching them is the least I can do to support you guys. Once in a while KZbin tries to slip in a really long one and I will fast forward those. Thank you Sandy for your lovely vlogs. Was that cod? 🌻🎄

I am in the US. I only see one ad on your videos. It is in the beginning. I have never seen any, any other time.

I don’t think anyone enjoys Costco parking lot 😂 I sure don’t. I hate the ads but I always assume KZbin puts them in where they want - they add to mine and I don’t monetize my videos as yet so who knows. Always love your content ❤

That's one of the reasons I pay for a premium youtube membership - no ads at all! I'm sorry they've upped it that much :(
