Tyler and Jess, I’m so thankful I found your channels this year, as you’ve brilliantly entertained me and brought me so much joy. You’re both bright, articulate and super fun! Vlogmas has been great! But not gonna lie, the Egypt videos were absolutely outstanding! I could cry just thinking about them. Your filmmaking skills are incredible, and the music in those videos is absolute perfection. I just wanted to let you know you are so appreciated. Blessings and Merry Christmas ❤️

I have been reflecting on the stages of childhood and parenting a lot lately. My youngest will be 13 in 3 weeks, and my oldest just turned 17. During the Chritmas season, I do miss having little kids, but every stage is so special and fun. I am thoroughly enjoy watching my boys grow and turn into men. We are now experiencing 1st cars, 1st loves, 1st heartbreaks, 1st jobs, colleges tours, band concerts, soccer games, cross country meets.....the list goes on and on. I say all of this to say... soak it all in Braun family, even the tough toddler times. Merry Christmas to your family.

Love the cup trick for the cookies! My mom made what we'd call "molasses cookies" every fall when I was a kid, so I associate them with fall more that Christmas. We served them at our October wedding along with apple slices as an appetizer. :) And I rarely buy brown sugar. I just make my own with molasses and white sugar as needed, and then you can control how dark the brown sugar is.

Pretty sure stuffing is where you make it with old bread or bread cubes, dressing is southern it is made with cornbread and never intended to go inside the bird. The fact that you like balsamic and tomatoes makes me think you’ll like this super easy crockpot recipe that’s a staple at our house : 4-6 boneless, skinless, chicken breasts 2 cans diced tomatoes 1 medium onion 4 garlic cloves 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar 1 tbsp. olive oil 1 tsp dried oregano 1 tsp basil 1 tsp rosemary 1/2 tsp thyme ground black pepper to taste Pour the olive oil on bottom of slow cooker, add chicken breasts, salt and pepper each breast, put sliced onion on top of chicken then put in all the dried herbs and garlic cloves. Pour in vinegar and top with tomatoes. Cook on high for 4 hours, serve over whole wheat pasta or rice !
