It's already day 23! Today I have the day off from work, so I'm getting my life organized before heading home for the holidays. We do a quick stop for hot chocolate at Little Cupcake Bakeshop (my Nolita favorite), then head over to SoHo for some browsing and errands. Then I watch The Grinch while folding laundry and then plan outfits & pack for NH!

Love your coat and how organized you are in packing. Even though I live in a hot/dry area, I still have my coats. An old friend of mine would wear her coats off the shoulders when she rode the elevators in dept stores. Along with her gloves and cigarette holder-She was a doll!!!

Very cute pink coat. Just an idea - take both the jewels off and toss the bad one away and use the other one to fasten. It would look just great with just one jewel. wow love the coat. Hope you find the jewel. If not I would contact the company and the person who you bought off. I know when I buy clothing I keep the extra buttons. An expensive coat shouldn't break so easily so you may be able get them to send out a new button.

Once, many years ago, my mom and I were shopping at a dress shop in Albuquerque called Redmond's, when the kindest sales clerk shared with us that, because of the cold winters in the east one has several coats for variety. It is like us wearing our clothes, we have more than one. I will always remember this lady and her little story. 🧥
