Hi Noura!💛 I’m happy that you’re going to have a lovely family day. I forgot to tell you! I received my La Danza delle Libellule! You are so right about it. It’s so lovely! I’m getting a little more adventurous. 😊I definitely tried Red Tobacco before I was ready. 😂 I couldn’t scrub it off fast enough!😳 I’ve only tried a few. From Parfums de Marly, I love Herod and Oajan…I HATE Delina! I love Jovoy Fire at Will! Montal and Mancera have a synthetic note that I don’t like. Funny thing though, I tried my Montale fragrances once more before I sold them. That note had disappeared! It took a year, though. I’m not willing to buy a fragrance and have to wait a year to wear it. So I’ll keep what I have, but won’t buy any more. My nose is evolving a little slowly, but it is evolving. 😂 I sold all of my middle eastern fragrances. I love my Dior and Chanel fragrances, but all designer fragrances are getting ridiculous in price. I’m retired now and I have enough to enjoy for the rest of my years. I only kept what brings me joy, and decluttered and sold the rest. 😊 Thank you for sharing so much of yourself with us. You said it! I also agree about privé lines, not too chalenging but still unique enough. Best exemples are Guerlain and armani privé, great quality in my opinion.

I think you need to open them each day. You seem like a very sweet and gentle woman. I dont remember subscribing but there I am, somehow subscribed to your channel. Looking forward to more. I love niche perfumes. Just started buying all sorts of samples from "ScentSplit". My favorite scents so far are patchouli scents. "Intricant Patchouli" is a good one. But none of them last very long. Thank you for your gentle video and will be vuewing more of your videos.

i started with middle eastern this year after not really being too much into fragrances. owned maybe a couple of designer perfumes that i didn't wear often. i did smell the quality. some perfumes smell smoother than others but they were also easier to tell scent profiles because the price was affordable to experiment. Next year i hope to budget a few niche and designer perfumes to my collection. I also agree that I can see why fragrance enthusiasts start to move towards niche after they've been smelling/collecting for a long while. Even amongst Lattafa they have fragrances that fall outside of profiles I could find at Sephora or my local drugstore. I can see why someone would want higher quality or even more variety of scent profiles they like rather than different variations of what's popular

It's funny - I started my perfume discovery with niche fragrances as the designer perfumes targeted to women just didn't appeal at all to my taste, but something switched this year and i started loving the designer offerings! Started going through old and new classics from Chanel, Guerlain, Hermes, Mugler, etc. Maybe just the taste changed and i started liking pretty florals and old chypres 😂 with niche it really depends on the brand - some are quality and artistic, some are low quality and mass appealing and everything in between, so my plan is to have a mix of the best from both. Thank you for Vlogmas, it was so interesting and fun to watch and get to know you a little bit! Have a great holiday🎄

@@astadidziokaite4792 similar for me; I am rediscovering old designer favourites and at the moment I prefer them over most niche (I just bought Chanel No.5 and Mugler Angel lol!) I was in New York City for the week and I don’t know what’s happening with me, but there were so many instances were I smelled some niche fragrance in the crowd on 5th avenue and found it repulsive. There’s an overuse of synthetic musks and ambroxan at the moment and my nose is not reacting well to it.

I love your Vlogmas! I see what you’re saying about long term KZbinrs and designer fragrances+affiliate links, but I would not draw that general conclusion. I’m not a fragrance expert, but I am a textile/fashion materials expert so I’ll use that as an example: just because I love and wear certain materials or brands that are very expensive, doesn’t mean I don’t love, appreciate and highly recommend items that are very affordable/the materials aren’t high price raw materials. 😊

You are definitely right about not drawing conclusions, I was talking about those who never talked about designer for years and then suddenly found the passion 🤔 There is a difference between saying these are the best designer fragrances that I would recommend and I now love and prefer designer! I may be reading too much in it, but this behaviour I find very suspicious 🤷🏻‍♀️

I didn’t have a car, and I couldn’t get around other than when my husband picked me up from and dropped me off at work. Each of them (3 in total) have had their own distinctive personalities. ❤
