Hey! So I have a little bit to say about this one… First of all, love, love love that you included some watercolor footage in this video! That color, red, though! What color is that? What brand of paint? Also, speaking of paint colors, if you’re looking for the most vibrant most punchy watercolor paints on the market, I think you’d absolutely love MIJELLO Mission Gold watercolors!!! They are so vibrant and in your face, they just have your name written all over them! There’s some of my favorites❤️✨ So love the tea kettle footage… I’m really enjoying Matcha green tea right now with a dash of cocoa powder and oat milk. Makes a great green tea Matcha hot chocolate!!! 🫖🫖🫖 So yeah, also the believing in yourself stuff I really truly believe it’s to do more with comparison than it is to do with your actual skills and talents, which you have an extraordinary amount of especially in your editing and filmmaking skills! There is no reason you shouldn’t be at the top of the list when it comes to quality here on social media! Believe it or not I actually don’t even do Instagram, Twitter, twitch, Facebook, or anything other than KZbin. I really think some of the other social media outlets can actually hinder your successes on any one or two important ones, depending on which ones you consider important… I think KZbin is more solid and more lucrative, but that’s just my opinion!😉 it is also a lot more forgiving when it comes to personal ability and authenticity. For example, the live streaming while drawing is not exactly an enjoyable combination! Lol, even doing real time artwork/drawing process, with real-time commentary can be intimidating, even with the editing. A lot of artists find it hard to draw and talk at the same time. But if that’s something you are good at, I don’t see any reason not to stick with that! Live streaming could be relegated to a studio tour and suggestion of good product, products, etc. even if just to get used to live streaming… again, just my opinion! And Leslie, my dear, why have we not seen any sketchbook stuff?? That’s a big deal right now here on KZbin! You said you’re into acrylics or tried them recently? Would love to see that as well! I recently got into acrylic markers and I have a couple videos up of those on my channel… For some reason, people are really digging the sketchbooks right now! Me included as long as there’s decent commentary.😉❤️✨🕊️ anyway my friend that’s enough for today! Lol see you in the next one😉

This. Is. Everything to me. Seriously. WOW!!! ❤ I feel very heard and very happy ❤❤ Isn't that red so nice? It is the brand St. Petersburg and the palette is called White Nights. It has served me well but like you are mentioning, I am starting to notice they aren't giving me that real punch of color I am looking for. I really noticed it in that portrait I attempted to watercolor with the super colorful hair. So thank you SO much for the recommendation because I really don't know a lot about different brands but I have been wanting to try and find more vibrant ones!! This is so helpful! I LOVE matcha and never thought to try adding cocoa powder!! I have got to try that! Everything you have said means more to me than I can begin to tell you. And comparing myself has been a struggle since even before really getting into art. It is almost like I have been in a constant state of comparison for years now. I have been very aware of it and trying to work on that so it won't affect my mentality and art as much as it has. Ok also, what you say about social media made me feel like a lightbulb went off in my head. I have started to really back off of instagram and I noticed once I did that I was able to put more effort into my KZbin. And I am just like you with KZbin, I think it is a much better platform, more solid, and gives more opportunity. I am really tired of having to fit my art into 60 seconds just for a reel, you know? A goal in 2025 is to really put all focus into KZbin. I am soooo bad at doing 2 things at once in general. Talking and drawing at the same time are NOT my strongpoint hahaha! So I love your idea of doing other things instead of only drawing live. I think that is really smart especially for starting out and getting warmed up to it. Thank you for all of this. I wish I could give you a huge hug because it all just means so SO much ❤❤❤

@@LuRuStudiosAwww,! I’m so glad! You deserve more recognition than you are currently getting, and I think your channel will blow up big once it finds it’s true audience! I’ve already noticed that you’re getting more views just from uploading daily, which isn’t necessarily sustainable, long-term, cause I know it would be really hard for me to upload daily! but it helps to gain momentum…😉 I used to have white nights watercolors… I actually sold them once I started using other water colors. I realize just how hard it was to get good layers and vibrancy with them. Plus, I didn’t like how shiny they would get after. I tried to lay the paint on thick attempting to get those deeper tones! Great for starting out and I’m glad that they are light fast, but I definitely needed an upgrade from them! OK, my dear, thank you for all the replies and you are so sweet to get back to me on every comment! Looking forward to your next video❤️🙏✨🕊️😉

@@creativesolutionsart-h3o Thank you so much for saying that! The slow climb has been a little difficult sometimes but I also am thankful it has given me time to take it all in as things build! I just really can't tell you how much I appreciate you being here when I am a very VERY small channel compared to the millions of other channels out there. Like thank you for picking me ❤ YES THE SHINE!!!!! Ok this makes me feel better because there was one portrait in particular that I used the black paint to do some eyeliner and I made it really thick in hopes it would be more opaque but hated how shiny it was!! I was thinking it was just me not knowing what I was doing haha I have been looking into the paint you mentioned and I am really wanting to up my supplies next year so thank you again for the suggestion! ❤❤
