Dear Amber, thank you so much for your vlogmas! Last wednesday a got a hip replacement and i‘m home since sunday - so i have a lot of knitting time and can watch podcasts/vlogmas episodes, what really helps me through the day. I dyed yarn for advent socks myself (a lot of work and math 😉) and enjoy knitting on them. A while ago i crocheted the granny stripe shawl by ObjetCrochet and i loved the process and the shawl. I used over 40 colours and it lifts my mood every time i look at it. Love the book „Winter Celebrations“ and will order it. Take care and stay healthy ❤

Hope you’re feeling better, Amber! Ginger-lemon-honey-tea is the best when you think you might be getting something. I’ve had luck adding a splash of vinegar to it as well. Beautiful, cozy episode. Your sourdough bread looks amazing!

Rinse your shawl in vinegar and water to set the colour if you are concerned about it running on anything you may wear with it. I had this problem as well and so much colour ran that it ruined the shawl. Not quince and co it was an indi dyer

Hi Amber! I am a new follower. I am doing the Jacquie Lawson animated advent this year with a Christmas in Paris theme so when I saw you drinking that tea I had to order some. It’s delicious with a little honey. I also ordered the cotton yarn from Purl Solo to make the farmhouse kitchen towel pattern you shared in a previous video. I need a couple of housewarming gifts. Thanks for all your inspiration! I am getting the project 39 (redesigned bag) knitting bag for Christmas. Not sure if you are familiar with that line.
