Time is really precious. My mom passed away on Dec 9, 2024 and I thank God that we got to celebrate her 70th bday last Oct 20, 2024. I work/live abroad and I really make it a point to come home and celebrated her birthday. She was hospitalized for 3 weeks a few days after her bday, and then after 2 weeks, she was back in the hospital. We were told that she can go home the day before she passed so we were all happy, but little did we know that the home she was going was to God and not us. Even though it was painful, I'm relieved that she's not suffering and in pain anymore. Treasure every moment you spent with your loved ones because you'll never know what will happen.

I suggest po ms. Anna if you all get Pre-exposure prophylaxis for anti-rabies, esp. alexei. Animal bite centers can explain the importance. Some kids din kasi wont tell if they got scratched or bitten. That will give you peace of mind. ☺️

Your tatay reminds me so much of my papa. Sending prayers that his Christmas will be as pain free as possible.🙏🏼 Fighting with him, as his daughters, is really hard. Pero laban at dasal lang. I hate (and fear) big C so much but I guess it made our family closer and care for one another more.
